Worked great for my application

Needed these for tow mirror brackets, they fit perfectly after setting them and seem to be very secure after using a rivnut tool on them.

Easily replace Audi/VW Rivnuts

Surprisingly I bought a Audi radiator support and unibody pieces that did not have rivnuts preinstalled. This product when installed looks OEM, and fits the hex openings perfectly. Easy to install without special tools. Just use a bolt and a nut with a washer, preferably with some grease on it, pulled it tight with no problem.

These fit in a 9mm hole, not 8mm

The description is either wrong or I wasn’t able to understand it. I have an 8mm hex hole I’m trying to use these in but these are 9mm diameter. The description says “ Application Hole Size: 8mm/ 0.3"; Round Body Diameter (D): 8.8mm/ 0.35"”. I take that to mean the hex hole size required is 8mm and a round hole required would be 8.8mm, but they don’t fit. I could drill out the hole to make it fit, but I’d rather not because this is for the roof on my Suburban.
