Fragile gate (arrived damaged) but does wat I needed

The packaging arrived undamaged but the gate part was damaged in the packaging. The material for the locking pin part is quite flimsy (see photos). I also bought the extra stands to bring more stability. I have a frail old golden retriever so she does not attempt to push the barrier to go up stairs. The purpose of the gate is to keep her from going up and possibly slipping down and hurt herself. I have contacted the manufacturer to get replacement section for the gate but since this happened between Christmas and New Year, I have not had a response yet. Will keep you posted. Overall, I am satisfied because it does what I needed so I just need the gate section of the partition replaced. I will post updates on the resolution.

Not very heavy

We love this gate but it’s not very heavy. For example, if a dog were to jump and put their paws on the top of it, the gate would topple over. Besides that, it’s really convenient and works 99% of the time!

Works ok if you don't plan to move it very often...not very durable.

Very flimsy...particle board...fell over and split one of the slats...tried to glue it back together and broke again. I move it multiple times a day and it just is too fragile for that. Lock broke first week of having it.

Works well for our needs

It was super easy to install- it arrived assembled so it just required standing it up and placing the two braces in slots to make it stand. It’s on the taller side and it looks nice. The swinging door feature is nice for us to be able to go through without having to step over it. The barrier does feel a little bit flimsy. We got it for our puppy so it’s working fine but a larger dog would likely be able to push it out of the way.

Looks good fragile dowels

The product arrivved late and the dowels on the door gate are going to have to be glued and reset. I have an odd shaped apartment and cannot attach suction cup gates. I needed a gate that would not fall over (this gate has feet that come with it and are easy to put on) . I was able to sit it up easily and the slats are close enough to keep my puppy unable to squeeze through it. However I am waiting for my handyman to repair it as the gate is damaged and it arrived that way. It was too hard to get out of the box and too heavy for me to repack it and ship it back so I am keeping it. I wish others better luck with the condition their gates arrive in

Nice barricade, poor latch

After a couple months use, the latch broke. The gate is fine and sturdy, they need a better latch. I just keep the gate closed with a tie now.
