Hard to install

Once installed it works okay. Make sure it snaps in tight or it will come apart and the spring will be lost. Doesn't always feed out properly.

The most important thing; it fits Toro trimmer model # 51467. I was confused when searching online however. Be aware, Toro has many versions of this model over many years for both corded and cordless. They really should have made them different models as they have some different parts.

I've ordered this (88175) spool before and realy liked it easy to use on my 12" Toro electric trimmer. That's why I ordered extra spools this time. The only problem is I received the smaller spools on this shipment, I send them back to exchange them for the correct size. Now I'm waiting for for them to arrive. Thank you

Perfect fit...

This was a perfect replacement for my Toro cordless trimmer. It's actually made better than the original part, which had broken in half (the nub broke clean off; this new one will not suffer the same fate). It's just too bad that the internal battery DIED as soon as I replaced the spool. Now the trimmer is worthless and I'm out $7 for ordering this part.

WORKS AS IT SHOULD I wore the bottom off the original spool off by using the trimmer on weeds in between concrete pavers - should have known better! The spring flew out and disappeared! I didn't really need the line that came with it - I use heavier line - but so what - I counted the supplied line as a "freebie"

Right part, good price

Quick delivery and a way better price than most other sources on the web. I did find another source that was a wee bit cheaper but 'out of stock'. Next best choice was a no brainer.
