Not for my puppy yet

I bought this to keep my puppy out of the front of the house. She is less than 6 lbs. and adventurous. As in she takes off the moment the door opens and zooms 7 houses down the street before you know it. This thing took 2 people to assemble, and with difficulty at that. You have to hold both sides steady and tighten simultaneously. Not a one (wo)man job. I bought the wall savers and we ended up using them. I made things a lot easier once we used them. If you are using wall savers, make sure to account for their depth too. In my case, they made everything easier. I ended up using all the extensions, and the gate holds up well. The open is not great. I find that it sticks, plus you have to slide and lift, but lift more than you'd think. It look really well. Unfortunately, my puppy is so small, and will remain so, that she fits through the sides. Learned this the hard way. She zips out one sides and zooms back in the other. Apparently it's scary to go through the same side the other way.

Stylish and Functional!

Love how it automatically closes behind you with minimal effort. And it looks stylish in our farmhouse decorated home. Easy to open, and easy to install!

A little disappointed that the bottom of the gate has already broken after only a month of normal use but it is still usable and looks nice. I don't want to go through the trouble of sending it back. A little gorilla glue and a brace will fix it.

Very well-built

I purchased this to keep my three doodles in the den area and it is very well-built and sturdy. I had Some issues putting it together. Other than that couldn’t be happier

NOT FOR STAIRS

We bought this for our puppy but we have a teen that uses it frequently. This gate is NOT FOR STAIRS. We have it in a main hallway and the feet constantly slide on the wall and the gate comes lose on one side of the other. The adjustable feet do not stay locked on place and due to this the gate don't clip properly.

PRESSURE MOUNTED, means you the gate won’t operate properly UNTIL it’s installed!

This gate is VERY sturdy! For the reviewer who said it doesn’t clasp closed….it has to be installed before it clasps closed. That’s how a pressure mount works. This gate is excellent and it is super classy looking.

NOT METAL

My mini bernedoodle puppy (10lbs) chewed threw the bars- literally. There is a coating and then it is wood. Not made for a teething puppy! Easy to install and sturdy but he chewed it! We had to replace with a similar gate made of metal

Cannot latch the gate

The gate won't latch, making it completely unusable. This thing was built so far out of square it doesn't came anywhere near being able to latch it. As you can see in the photos, one side is 1" off square and the other side is 1/2" off. Out of the box less than an hour and getting returned.
