No need for tape!
I have an adhesive allergy, and I have a g-tube. This is not the best of combinations. After I was switched from a button to a dangler, I had to find a way to secure the length of tubing. I do need to pre-treat my skin with a barrier product before I put this on though. I use Skin-Tac, and don’t have a problem with blistering or itching. Right now I’m using the size medium, but the large would actually be better due to the diameter of my tubing. It’s a 24fr. (SEE UPDATE BELOW ABOUT THIS!) My tube is the largest of french sizes a medium will accommodate, and maybe due to the tension on the strap that fits over top, I sometimes have problems keeping it stuck down for multiple days. So, I reinforce both ends with a layer of Hypafix. When I don’t do this, it tends to buckle up and lift off of my skin in the center after a day or so. Anyone who has a more common size wouldn’t have an issue with this. Using this product has made my life so much easier! I’ve struggled with hypergranulation tissue, and the main trigger in my case is friction from g-tube movement. Now it stays secure, and my stoma looks just perfect. No bleeding, no goo. Inside, under the little tab, there are sticky strips that grip the tube from its top and underside so it can’t slide around in the “holster”. I’ve noticed the more I lift and then replace the strap, the sticky part isn’t so sticky anymore, so I try to position it to where I can leave it in place without lifting as few times as I can. If I get it just right, meals can flow by only undoing the clamp on my tube. Happily, Medicare covers these, and I get a few along with my other monthly feeding tube supplies from the DME. The photo I added with this review is of one my daughter decorated for me. She was in for a visit, and we had a fun afternoon making some look a little less “medical” with acrylic paint markers. The designs hold up just fine through showering and daily wear. The Velcro is great, I don’t have problems with snagging fabric of my clothing. UPDATE ????. I found the key to it staying stuck for multiple days (oddly enough) is dependent on where I apply the Grip-Lok. If I stick it lower on my abdomen instead of at my waist, my skin isn’t constantly stretching with just normal daily movement. It’s odd, but it seems to be true. I didn’t need to go up to a size large after all. I also tried a medium wide, it looks the same as the medium, and the velcro is the same, but the silicone tape in the center section is wider. .

Extremely sensitive skin and port-a-cath win!
*Please ignore the fuzzies from my shirt that the adhesive collected at the edges. My dressing is changed once a week, and this photo is day 5- great staying power!* I have a central line (port) that is accessed 24/7, and the catheter and therefore needle getting caught and tugged on (ouch), and pulling up the dressing is always a concern for infection. I am extremely allergic to adhesives, and have super sensitive skin to the point of chemical burns. The only dressing I can use with the least amount of reactivity is IV3000. I was nervous about this, but am so relieved that I don't react too much to this (I'm allergic to skin prep, so this is directly on my skin, with a little bit on the labeling tape strip of the dressing). It gives a solid anchor point to protect from painful tugs and having my dressing pulled up. I don't think the photo shows it well, but when I'm putting the dressing on, I hold the line out from my body a little bit, then pinch the dressing around the line so it's completely surrounded, then fold the dressing flap with the line within it to the side and secure it with the upper strip to help prevent the dressing coming up if it gets caught or tugged on. I didn't think about it when I first ordered these, but it has been wonderful for managing the line while bathing. Anyone with a CVAD knows what a PITA the shower covers are. Being able to coil the line, then secure it with the velcro strip takes the load of the tucked in line off of the shower cover adhesive, which I've found to help the cover stick better and longer. These are pretty pricy, but what isn't when you're this far into the weeds of medical supplies. I will keep purchasing and recommending these!

Decent skin adhésion for several days
I'm allergic to every tape so it's very hard to find one that doesn't have me scratching holes into my skin after a few hours. This tape actually gives me about 4-7 days of wear time and I usually don't start itching until day 4 or 5 and it's bearable. The only drawback is that once it gets wet it will fall off. The velcro is very secure and it holds up to constant usage for my tube feedings for opening/closing and adjusting my tube. I have to place it on my chest as my abdominal skin is more sensitive and reacts to the tape quicker so I'm limited on space for placement but for the most part I've had no problems with the tape adhering. Only one lasted less than 3 days bc it got wet and fell off so you'll have to either replace it or cover it with a waterproof dressing. I used the medium size to accommodate my 18fr feeding tube but I feel like the large size would be a bit better. Overall it's still decent for the price and quantity and the quality isn't that bad as long as it doesn't get wet. It also doesn't leave hardly any mess when you take it off which is very nice for skin integrity/cleaning after.

Great product.
They do a wonderful job and last for about a week before they have to be changed. The only complaint I have is only 10 come to a pack. They cost too much for just 10.

Great alternative to Stat lock
The adhesive on the back on the stat lock made me break out in a horrible itchy and stinging rash. These are a great alternative for a stat lock. I have only tried these on my chest, to keep my tunneled catheter (central line) from pulling out. They do a great job and don’t irritate my skin. I have EDS & Co., with a suspected diagnosis of MCAS, so these have been a miracle. Without them, my catheter pulled out and was painful and bled a lot.

This is a great alternative to the butterfly stat lock
My husband has a double nephrostomy - 2 tubes in his back, one in each kidney. His back tubes were originally secured by a butterfly type stat lock. These stat locks have a hard plastic piece in the centre which would not allow my husband to get any sleep. A nurse showed us the Tidi Grip securement device and we have used them ever since. However, we did find that we need 2 of this type to secure each tube - a total of 4 to secure both nephrostomy tubes for each full bandage change.

Does not stick
This needs to be taped down before you can try to put the feeding tube into the very small available space

Good product but not suitable for my purpose
It's a good product, but not suitable for my purpose. I was trying to use it for anchoring a LVAD driveline, which is too stiff and too heavy for this device. They still last 3 to 5 days, which is pretty good.
