Fun
Fun little game that looks nice on a shelf. Some glue was visible on the case, so I didn't give it 5 stars.

Fun challenging puzzles!
I am really enjoying playing this game. I've tried spacial puzzle games before but this one is really fun. Gets easier once you get a hang out it. But there are a few tricky once that take a while. Highly recommend it to people who enjoy doing puzzles!

Received a defective piece as part of my puzzle
I swear I have the worst luck with this sort of thing, but when I started doing the puzzles, I realized that #3 was impossible because one of the 6s was wrong. On one of my 6s, the gap was on the wrong side, so the solution on the back wasn't possible. I spent forever thinking I was the problem though, which was really annoying. Other than that I really like the puzzle. I'm going to get a replacement. Just wanted to write this review as a potential warning.

I purchased this as a gift for someone after we saw it at an escape room place. If you like wooden puzzle this is a must have.

Laser cut doesn’t mean error proof
First puzzle didn’t go together as shown using the solution on the card. Very disappointing.

Defect???
The item that I purchased wound up having a broken cover so it was returned. I went to the local Barnes & Noble to purchase the same kind of Sherlock puzzle box. When examining that box, I saw that is was cracked in the exact same spot as well.

Defective Product and unusable
Bought this at Barnes and Noble (brick and mortar bookstore) November 2021 to be used as a Christmas gift. Didn't end up using it as a gift and couldn't return the product since it had exceeded the 30 day return policy. I opened it up and right out of the gate the very first puzzle cannot be completed. Despite the "precision cut" tag line on the front of the box - the Sherlock is not precision cut. The channels on every puzzle piece are 1/16th of an inch too far apart or the hole placement on the puzzle box is 1/16th of an inch too close. Either way, someone messed up during design or manufacturing. For example, Puzzle card #1 requires the use of two #4 puzzle pieces. The clearance issue is immediately apparent when trying to slide another puzzle piece into the puzzle box. The Sherlock cannot be used as is without modifying the product to correct for the 1/16th inch error. Edit Jan 16, 2022: I contacted Spin Master (parent company of Marbles). Their customer service responded same day. They could not replace the defective product since there were no more in the warehouse. They instead offered to replace it with something of comparable value within their Marbles product line to be received in 10 to 15 business days. The Sherlock puzzle still remains a 1 star but Spin Master had excellent and prompt customer service.

Absolutely love it
This puzzle is so addicting for the beginner and advanced. Starts off fairly easy and gets harder and more complicated as you go on. I am on level 14 now and am starting to struggle a bit. It does come with the solution to all of the levels in case you decide you need the help. It is also well constructed and very attractive sitting on the coffee table but once visitors see it and you explain it, they are hooked right away.
