Ammonia is definitely not accurate at all

I’ve tested the ammmonia strips on three separate tanks and they all came back “safe”. I also tested one in a bucket of dirty fish tank water (from a big water change) that had bio film, fish waste and plant matter in it, and that one also came back as “safe” when there was NO way there could be hardly any ammonia in that bucket. So I don’t think the ammonia strips are accurate at all, or maybe I’m just not doing it right even though I’m following the directions on the bottle lol. The other strips seem to be more accurate so it wasn’t a complete waste of money I guess ????????‍♀️.

Easy to use

These are so convenient and easy to use. Way easier than back in the day when you needed to use different drops in test tubes to check your water. Just dip, wait a min or so and compare to the bottle that has the chart. Easy peasey.

Great item, way too expensive!

I love the convenience of not having to mess with drops but the cost of these makes me test less often than I do with the drops.

Instant results, instant peace of mind

I'm fairly new to fish keeping. I would monitor the behavior of my fish like a hawk to the point where I would lose sleep and stress out because I had no idea if the water was adequate, even though I knew the tank was well cycled and parameters were close to ideal. These strips helped me stop stressing out by removing all the anxiety that comes from guess work. It's really incredible just how much of a difference knowing these small amounts of information immediately at a whim did on my peace of mind. Now I can enjoy my fish in peace and periodically test to ensure my water is safe.

ok I guess. accuracy is not the point here. Just a quick peek if you could be in trouble or not. kinda dumb taping the chart on the container, folded, and the notification that you have to peel the darn thing off, is not really easy to notice. taped the chart on the side of my canopy right away so it doesn't get wet, or worse, lost.
