The molds are not all the same

These aren’t precise. I would’ve expected the shapes to be more consistent. Some forms are more detailed than others (on the same sheet). I’ll look elsewhere for my next cookie form pan.

Great pans

PERFECT pan for PERFECT cookies.

I gave this item to a client of mine who loves to bake in the hopes of being on the receiving end of the final product, and boy was I! When I told her how amazing the cookies were, how the edges were the perfect amount of crunch, and the middles the perfect amount of chewy, she said that she thought so, too, and she said she thought that it had to do with the pan, as well as the recipe, of course. But she'd used this recipe before and didn't get the same product, so it must be the pan, especially because she agreed that the edges of the cookies were the perfect amount of crunch, and the middles the perfect amount of chewy. So there you have it! A FIVE STAR review! Yay!

The correct choice for authentic Madeleines

If you want to make actual French Madeleines, these are the pans for you at a reasonable cost. Does not over brown like non stick pans. The pans work perfectly. Brush the molds with Beurre du Commercy, a mixture of 2 tbs melted butter and a tbs of Flour wiping away any pooled butter. This will allow the Madeleine's to release from the molds by turning upside down and rapping on the counter. The pans went through the dishwasher without problems. Also, a hint. Use the Julia Child recipe, real pure vanilla extract, and fresh orange or lemon zest to avoid making those horrid fakes sold commercially.

I finally feel like a Parisian

I impulsively bought this pan because I had to make madeleines for a little fête in my french class. The pan works well and madeleines come out great. (pro-tip: I don’t know if the pan claims to be nonstick. either way, don’t listen to that. smear a little butter before pouring madeleine batter. those puppies will come out more golden than someone falling asleep while tanning in Cancún)

Say Goodbye To Starbucks Madelines

I have used my madeline pan several times now and I'm very pleased with how my cookies come out each time. I also like that it's very easy to clean. All in all, I'm very pleased with my purchase. Also, if you are looking for a great recipe to follow I highly recommend watching JoyofBaking on YouTube. :)

No Overly Browned and Crispy Bottoms!

I’m one of those weirdos who hate crust, so madeleines with extra crispy browned bottoms are the last things I want. Mrs. Anderson’s silver (not the darker non-stick) madeleine pan is a godsend in keeping my madeleines done with only a slightly crispy golden bottom. I love this pan so much, I just bought another.

However I must say the quality is excellent.

As I had pointed out earlier, there is a discrepancy between the description attached to the display of the product and the item itself. To say that it is shipped directly from the USA, is not a satisfactory explanation. While the seller was willing to refund the cost, the shipping charges (non refundable) were quite substantial. So I just had to make do with it. However I must say the quality is excellent.

I love this pan

I love this pan. It goes directly from the freezer to being filled to the oven without warping or twisting. The heat transfer seems even and it does not generate any hot spots. Cleans easily. I've done 5 batches of madeleines in the two weeks I've had it and they've all turned out exactly the same. This is a wonderful pan, easy to use, easy to clean and store away. It's light and does not have any of the really sharp edges so common to the type. The product description is a touch misleading. It isn't 12 cups but rather 12 holes or indents for the madeleines. Given that each one is around a tablespoon of batter, you can see that it cannot possible be 12 cups in size. Aside from the description, it is a great addition to the kitchen.
