Not perfect but way better than nothing
In humid florida bike riding you sweat a lot and it doesnt evaporate. The sweat gutr helps keep sweat out of your eyes and sunglasses. It is not a 100% solution, but it is massively better than nothing.

Imperfect, but still the best I've used.
I sweat a lot when I bicycle, and it really, really hurts when the sweat gets in my eyes. Solving this problem is pretty important to me. I'd tried fabric sweat absorbing things, which work great until they're saturated, then they're nearly useless, even after wringing them out. If your ride is short or you don't sweat much, they're for you. The GUTR works pretty well, *IF* you wear it right. If you don't, either it's super uncomfortable, or it just doesn't work. I had to put it relatively low on my forehead, and the band in the back had to be rather high on my head. When the band was low in the back it ended up hurting my ears where it rested. No good. One flaw in the design is that it assumes your head is convex everywhere. If your temples are slightly concave (most people's are) there can be a little gap where sweat can run down next to your eye. This isn't a deal breaker, just be aware of the problem. Also, the design could be improved by making the upper edge angled a little more so it will make a good seal with your forehead and limit the sweat that can get *BEHIND* the band. This is *mostly* OK, except that the sweat that gets behind ends up down by the corners of your eyes where the band separates from your head at your temples. With a couple design tweaks this could be a 5+ star product. As it is, it's somewhere between 4+ and 5-. Worth the money, but imperfect.

Mostly excellent but one small problem
I sweat a lot and use this for mountain biking. It works better than any other sweatband I've used, which says a lot of good things. The only issue is that the sweat exits the device a little too close to my eyes, so if I turn my head in certain ways the sweat still gets in my eyes. I don't think this would be a problem for running sports where your body is in a standing vertical position. But on a bike, your head is often positioned with your face mostly towards the ground. In this position, sweat on your temples can run into your eyes. That said, it's better than other headbands I've used and it's very easy to wash.

Best thing to happen to my bike rides
This thing is phenomenal. I bought it for cycling, but it's honestly great for any workout, especially if getting sweat in your eyes makes the activity difficult. I am able to wear it just above my eyebrow ridge but below my helmet; I can't really tell it's there except for the fact that I no longer get rivers of sweat pouring into my eyes and glasses. You can wear it a little looser than you might think, it still diverts the sweat. Wearing it too tight will cause a headache, so be careful about that. You get 2 in a pack, and you can clean them with a quick rinse. 10/10 would recommend

First use-I really wanted to love this
I ride around 600 miles monthly. Average rides of 25miles. I can’t stand bringing 2-3 sweat bands along with me anymore so was excited to try Gutr. I looked at this and Halo but chose Gutr based on some of the amazon reviews and elsewhere online. Just took it out for its maiden voyage. Quick 20 mile loop. I’m in Indiana so The heat wasn’t horrible today. 85ish. Unfortunately, Gutr performed so poorly I literally stopped my route to see if I had put it on upside down. It literally didn’t work at all. Like zero. Now, there could be a couple things messing with it’s performance which I’ll give it another shot and update this review. 1. It was very windy today. 30mph winds. So maybe it was pushing sweat directionally 2. I’m on road bike so maybe I need to position it differently on my forehead. I had it pretty low above eyebrows But because I’m in aero position a lot, maybe it was just at wrong angle to pull the sweat away. Regardless. How I wore it today didn’t work. I literally don’t think it would have been worse if i wore no sweat band of any sort under my helmet. But again, because I appreciate the ingenuity, and small business nature of Gutr and the concept in general. I’m not going to be the guy giving a 1 star review after 1 use. Hoping i did something wrong ( I didn’t read any directions as it seems pretty self explanatory. Just put it on. So will give it the benefit of the doubt , do some research, try again and update this review after tomorrow’s ride.

Works well and is very comfortable
I am a cyclist who sweats a lot! For a while I have been using the Halo sweat bands with the sweat channel on them. They worked ok until they became saturated, which didn't take long. It probably didn't help that I have a large head, so the sweat band was stretched out across my forehead. After a ride I would also have a red line where the sweat channel is because it for so tightly. I just figured this was the best I was gonna get until I found this GUTR sweatband! I immediately loved that it is adjustable, so I can make it actually fit my melon! It took some adjusting to figure out where to put it on my head so as not to interfere with my helmet or sunglasses, but once I had it dialed in it was magical! The first time wearing it was in a 200+ mile weekend charity ride, and I have no regrets. This thing kept up with all my sweat, and let none of it get into my eyes. Afterward, I could just rinse it off with the rest of my gear and get on with my life. I am happy to recommend this to all of my cycling friends!

Sweat Gutr Flex Sweatband Headband
They actually do work; As a Longshoreman & working in extreme weathers that this comes very handy when ever I’m working inside any sheds or underground tunnels that are super hot & by wearing so much clothing & gear that I tend to swear more so than my Forman that isn’t carrying anything; No more sweat getting into my eyes while both of my hands are always too dirty or holding onto tools to wipe the sweats off of my eyes; Thank you team Amazon

Not perfect but much improved on cloth headbands.

You'll be asked questions...
If someone asks you if it's a heart rate monitor, or brain monitor, replay as you like. I just say it's a sweat band, and move on. Works well enough under my bike helmet, and pretty comfortable on the soccer pitch or on a run. Performance-wise I find it works really well to keep sweat out of my eyes when participating in intense sports, especially biking where the trail chunder would usually rattle sweat drops into my eyes and onto my riding glasses. A shake of the head clears it out well enough. That's coming from an above average sweater...

Fits well (adjustable) and works like a charm!
The adjustable strap makes it easy to fit, and it fits nicely under helmet. Does the trick of redirecting sweat!! Must try!

If you sweat a lot, get this!
By far the best sweat band I've ever used. I've tried everything to manage sweat from getting into my eyes and sunglasses while I'm biking and this is the only thing that does the job. Mind you it's not 100% effective bit I'd say for me it's 95% effective.
