As good as or better than legos
Snagged this while it was on sale. My autistic son is obsessed w legos, but they are so expensive. Most of the time, substitutes will not do. Figured we would give these a shot- he LOVES them! The play quality after they are built is so much better than legos- and the fact they can change into another structure adds so much to his play. Well, well worth it. Solid quality as well.

Packaging quality different? Also good intro to the brand, watch out for SNAP SHIPS TACTICS
Quality of packaging went down, I'm not sure cause what I ordered was supposedly brand new, but everything just came in bags within the box. The previous packaging for previous waves were neat with each had a spot for the UJU tech and pilots and etc. I don't know if this was deliberate or something odd is happening. As far as the actual product, building was pretty easy. New parts were refreshing but the price is definitely a bit too high. Paint scheme is a good addition but if you are like me who loves to mix sets, this might be an issue for you. If there was an option to buy the exact same sets in the previous waves colors, it would be a big plus. As an intro to the brand, this is definitely a nice start.

Hard to snap
These were a little hard to snap, but over all would purchase again. This is a great design, direction were spot on. I do wish they were all in color, sometime hard to tell how to assemble some parts. My son (9) and I loved assembling together.

Great Cap Ship
A great introductory Capitol ship for the line. A lot of awesome pieces for custom works. The ship can even turn into a mech bay. This still is one of the best line of toys around and I can wait for the other sets.
