Pretty, but not at all bright

Nicely made. I would say it's a good value overall seeing as it's cheaper than other lanterns on Amazon made of plastic. The lantern itself is metal. The candle is plastic, but the glass is glass. It looks like you could possibly remove the candle and replace it if you wanted. We use the timer function which works as expected. But we were hoping it would add a little light to the dining room. Not that we expected it to be a lamp, just brighter than it was. It has a soft warm glow, just enough so that you can see the candle, but it doesn't put out any light beyond that. Disappointed but everything else about it is nice, so four stars.

The lantern does not emit much light

Truly a very nice metal Lantern but it does not emit much light. I reluctantly returned this Lantern only because of its lack of lighting.

Lovely glow

Very nice looking lantern. Timer works great. It looks so pretty and welcoming in the room. Good value for the money. Quality is good. I've ordered others for gifts.

Ambiance is cool

Nothing like a nice little bit of ambiance outside on my back deck. Very classy, timeless vintage style. Seem to be pretty decent construction. Heavier than they look. Real glass side panels. The flickering lights are a really nice effect at night. Each one takes two “AA” batteries. You can just turn it on, off or timer. If you select timer, it stays on for about 5-6 hours and then comes back on at the same time every night. Very cool. Like them enough to buy four so far. I bought mine one at a time from Amazon warehouse for between $9-12. For that price? An absolute steal! I’m loving them. But sorry, one star for the made in China thing. Product seems to be well made and sturdy, attractive, weathers well, Immits soft flickering light

I have three of these. One seems to work very well, timer runs for approximately 6 hours as supposed to. Then shuts off. battery life,, two AA, are good and will go for about one month before needing replacement. One does the correct 6 hours shut off...BUT will only last about 10 days before batteries requires replacement. The third one lights up just fine but will not turn off as needed in 6 hours, just stays ON until manually turned off. I use this one inside and turn it off and on as needed. I hope to get another one to use outside that won't run the batteries down in 10 days.

Pleasantly Surprised!

Have to admit, when I ordered this product I thought the light would only last a short time and the batteries would have to continually be replaced, however, I purchased this item MONTHS ago and it's still going strong! Well made, good quality. Has been through ALL kinds of weather. I'm very happy with it, think you too will be happy. Thumbs up!

Nice conversation piece and is as advertised.

Made of metal and glass, decent quality, however the lamp is good for effect only as there is only one LED and is not bright enough for an actual light source.
