Pretty, but not as realistic as I had hoped

Large and pretty, but it does not look as realistic as the other owl statues I have in the alcove above fireplace. Fair price, though.

Beautiful

Yes, it’s pricy…but I look at this owl every day! It sits on our lovely stonewalled patio to keep hawks and other raptors from getting our tiny Maltese dogs. The cheap owls that are sold for this purpose are just too ugly and cheaply made. This owl statuary is beautifully, lifelike and heavy enough to stay in place. We move it constantly to fool the birds and has worked well and looks nice in place! It’s well worth the price. We hope it keeps its color in the weather.

looks so real

It came packaged very well. I put it in my rose garden, and it looks so real I sometimes get startled by it.

High Quality Sculpture

I feel the product is just as good if not better than the description. I bought this owl with the intent to repaint it and shave it down to be a snowy owl. The cast is very well done and all the features are well defined. I included photos for others to see the quality of the sculpture and the color as it comes. The paint job on the owl leaves a bit to be desired but I feel it is accurate to the photo. I feel this is only truly noticeable because the sculpture is so well defined and realistic in comparison. Will share the results when I'm done painting!

Disappointed

Loved the owl but basically no color. So very, very disappointed. Am sure the color is what made it so pricey. Too old and tired to fight the system with a return. Could it have just slipped through unnoticed?

molto bello però i dettagli non sono il massimo... ad esempio l'occhio non è lucido come si vede nella foto... inoltre il colore è molto più sul grigio e meno vivido di come si vede in foto

Schön und natürlich.

Sehr detailliert und naturgetreu. Vorsicht ist geboten bei der Befestigung. Das Material ist fest aber auch Spröde. Der Fuss ist etwa 6 mm stark die Wandung dagegen stellenweise höchstens 1 mm.

impressionante somiglianza al vero, quasi un'opera d'arte ...

sono un appassionato e neòfito collezionista di gufi e rapaci in genere fatti artisticamente e finalmente qui sono riuscito a trovare riproduzioni di animali fatte con cura e attenta ad ogni dettaglio arrivando a un livello altissimo di veridicità e somiglianza all'originale, sembrano vivi. Complimenti !!!
