That it for the Earthquake 3.5 and not the 8e but it will work by changing the gear.

It made for the Earthquake3.5 but I put it in my Earthquake8e. I just had to change the ring gear on the differential. Put the 8e gear on it instead of the 3.5 gear it smaller.

It works, but....

The reasons why I gave it 4 stars is 1) its brand new, 2) it works fine, but the missing star is because 3) the metal dif cups aren't as thick as the stock center dif I already had which leads me to believe either it fits the earthquake but is meant for a different rc or its just the new design to save on metal.

bought this to convert nitro volcano 1/10 to elec. with castle sidewinder ,4600kv motor. works wonderfully! Little bit noisy,but very sturdy, & thats what i was after.Love aluminum chassis on redcat products because so versatile to changes and sturdy. always had ecx and wont go back.Too all those who hav'nt checked out redcat trucks, you're missing the boat!So much more truck for the money and,stronger! steel axles,gears,8 shocks,alum. chassis, all standard equip.I'm used to paying extra for all of that.THANKS REDCAT.....LOWELL MINGS

It’s a locked diff , not opened

Comes assembled with all 4. motor mount/diff mount. spur gear cover. Second diff mount and spur diff.
