Great product replacement

Glad to find these! Older mobile home and these were a perfect fit. Inexpensive as well! Installed these and lubed the top rollers and now my doors work like new!

Some Pros, More Cons.

It was very hard to find this old style guide for keeping the bottom of my ever so annoying closet doors on track. That said, they aren’t that great. Cons: - They are very rigid and have no give with any sway or the door. Also makes it difficult to insert it into the bracket. - The little part which holds it in the track repeatedly comes out of the little hinge thing on the back of the guide, which takes the door off track. Then it gets trapped in the track and takes forever to free it. I suggest you get some hemostats to wrestle it out. - It’s hit or miss if you can get the guide snapped in to the track. So I added a putty knife to the arsenal to slide under the door to snap it into the track. Pros: They are hard to find, so I bought extras. That’s about it. I’d love to replace these 40 year old doors, but they are 9’ tall and consume the entire wall. The worst part is that there are three doors and the one in front seems to come off the track more than the rear ones. So it will swing a little and I don’t want the top wheels to come off the track because the are enormous! But If you’re only fixing one or two doors that aren’t used a lot, these may be good for you. I had to settle for now and am slowly learning to live with it until I can figure out the best way to replace them all!

This guide works in the slide and on the door. But it is more thin and lighter than the old original part. It is doing the job it is intended to do.
