Leaky faucet no more

I futzed with my shower cold water valve for months because I couldn't stand the drip drip drip all night long. Mostly just trying to adjust how tight the valve was closed, but with rarely any success. Finally, I took it apart, inspected and cleaned the valve and put it all back together. Drip drip drip. I do it again taking a close look at the seat and it looks perfect. I put it together and drip drip drip. I purchase this new faucet seat, install it and the drip drip drip is history. So I fixed the leak by replacing a part that looked fine visually, but couldn't do it's job. I bought a spare seat and spring so when the other valve starts it's drip drip drip I'll be ready.
