Hesitated due to the price...But wait!

I did not like the expensive price when I ordered. When I received it, I was more intrigued and really wondered how well it would work. BOOM! This this is awesome and much more convenient to use than my original stopper. It has made doing the dishes much easier and or just using the kitchen sink. Highly recommend.

It's a real InSinkErator stopper

It's a real InSinkErator stopper. It does what it's supposed to do: keep the silverware out of the garbage disposal. It's easy to clean, fits like it's supposed to and it's well made. If you want to use it as a stopper, just give the handle a 1/4 turn. Lift and give another 1/4 turn and let the water and small food debris go on down into the disposal...and keep the silverware out!

Great product.

Many of the reviews I read for this product said it wasn't sturdy and not worth the money. I'm glad I didn't listen because it meet my expectations 100%.

Could be better

The looks and basic function are ok, but could be improved. The shaft is very loose and there is not a good notch for "open/closed" position. I would suggest tighten up the post and give a better groove so it kind of locks open or closed. I would probably not buy again if I had a choice but am using it since I did already. It serves it's purpose so not worth returning.

Difficult to get it to hold water

It is a difficult to get the stopper just right so the water doesn't drain while washing dishes. I like that it allows water through at the end but not a forgotten utensil.

Works Great!

Love this to stop silverware and other small dishes from making their way down my disposal. Definitely worth buying the one made for my insinkerator disposal.

Practical addition to the waste disposer

It simply works

I had spent a lot of money on sink stops to match my Kohler sink which made running the disposal unit very messy. I switched to this stopper and it works perfectly: one twist to seal, another twist and light pull to open the gap and let water flow off, a stronger pull to take the stopper out completely. I clean it in the dishwasher and it still looks like new, unlike the Kohler strainer which lost its metal coating within days.
