Great Buy

100% improvement in my family's hair, skin feel and look after using this filtered shower head. The water is softer and feels cleaner. Our scalp, hair and skin were so dry and itchy before switching to the filtered shower head. It filters out the grit, chlorine and other junk that comes through the water.

I needed only to replace one showerhead, but the only option was to purchase a complete set including the hose and the bracket.

This is a big shower head

I always use a filtered shower head to get out the chorine and other contaminates in my water supply. This shower head is the fourth I've bought in many years. The only reason I replaced it was that I dropped the old shower head and broke it. This one is far wider and feels more like a rain head shower. Because it's bigger it is heaver and it's hard to keep it in a more upright position. It does smell like petroleum jelly due to the sealant they use. Be prepare to put lots of pressure on the head holder. The great effect is more shower spray choices. The new ones don't waste water or spray the shower door as much.

Great filtering, array, and force of water!

This works great and looks Gooood. I bought a smaller one years ago. It was the same brand and it did fabulously. It was easy to get refills at Home Depot also. I like this one best because it has a larger head and makes me feel like I am in a spa. Yes it truly is easily installed with your hands. It even comes with a small amount of pipe tape, but only one rubber washer. 2 or three would be best to make sure there will not be drips later. This filter shower head, this brand in particular because it filters out all the unnecessary bad things- chlorine etc. I have used this happily in the Chicago area- and we have the best water filtration system in the world and also in Tucson area, which has one of the worst systems. I like it a lot. The head and cord never tarnished on the old one in 10 years.

Too large and heavy

If you plan to use the tube and hold the handset to bathe or say wash a dog, be aware it is unwieldy and heavy which could get tiring

It’s a new normal *sigh*

This model is not as good and more expensive as my original sprite. The flow is lower and it leaks at both ends even with plumber’s tape. Head is larger and thus heavier than it needs to be since only one of seven spray settings offer decent spray. The rainshower setting is so weak it’s a joke. Not sure why sprite does not make smaller head available for sale in California. I would not buy this model again, purchased reluctantly due to lack of selection available to California residents.

Water pressure who?

The media could not be loaded. I bought this to help prevent mineral buildup in my hair and wow does it work! I have 2B/2C hair and have been bleaching and colouring for 10+ years and I wish I had bought this long ago. My hair has never felt softer or healthier between salon visits. The MAJOR Downside is my $20 shower head from Walmart had 3-4X the amount of water pressure which I was NOT expecting. After the first use I was incredibly disappointed and was going to return it thinking filtered shower heads must not be for me. However, my laziness got the best of me and after a while I got used to having what feels like zero water pressure. But maybe that's just the price one pays for a filtered shower head. My other concern is after 1 month of using this, I started noticing a hissing sound coming from behind the wall of my shower after I turn off the water. I tried running the tub faucet after the shower in case it was a building too much pressure in the lines or something but that didn't change the hissing so I've just accepted it. (I do have plans to ask a plumber and do some research about this)

Works great, easy to install

I love it. I can "smell the absence" of chlorine when I use it, and I can tell it's much better for the skin. It claims no tools are required for INSTALLATION, and that is true. However, you have to REMOVE the old shower head from the arm first, and that has always required a wrench (for me anyway). Other than that all is as described and promised. Another big plus is the ease of changing the filters compared with other filter shower head designs I have used in the past, which have been a major hassle/struggle.
