Pricey, but excellent product!
This product has been my go-to for years because it is light and has an awesome matte finish, allowing your hair to have volume and create texture. I use this for a men's modern undercut style, to allow for height and maintaining direction to my hair. I finish with tresseme hairspray to hold in position for a full day work as a physical therapist. My hair is naturally thick and wavy/curly but I use a roller brush and blowdry before applying to straighten my hair.

PURCHASE THIS ONE
I’m an idiot. I bought the matteral instead of this and thought I got a fake. And I didn’t return within the window because I was still finishing my previous jar of reformer. But the scent and hold of matteral is awful to be honest. I’ve purchased reformer 7 times on Amazon and like 4 other times from my barber. It lasts forever if your hair isn’t super long. When I let my hair go it works, but takes way more of this too handle it. The true reformer smells incredible and holds perfect. Strong, but “reformable”, matte but present, sleek but subtle. It’s perfect. My current jar is almost done and I’m ordering another since the matteral I accidentally ordered won’t do. I’ve tried many hair products before, this is the best. I use reformer every day unless I wear a hat.

Wait for sales
This stuff is excellent. If you aren't familiar with Reformer or similar products, this is a cream as opposed to a pomade or gel. It will hold your hair in place pretty well (in most circumstances) and is still pliable and flexible. The reason it's called reformer is because you are able to shape it back up later in the day. Most of the time it's around $20, but this product frequently has sales, sometimes for as low as $10 to $12. Don't buy it at full price.

Favorite Men’s Styling Product
Mitch Reformer delivers as advertised. It has a strong hold that will last all day while still maintaining a matte finish. My hair is medium to short length for reference.

Hope they never discontinue it
Seems like every time I find a styling product I like, they end up discontinuing it. (RIP, Redken Firm Grasp.) I pray they never do that with this product, because it's been a game changer for me. Hair goes exactly where it's supposed to, stays there with minimal spray, and doesn't look overly-shiny or unnatural. Smell's good, too, without being overpowering. I only wish this product had been around 20 years ago - I could have had much better hair days through the years.
