These are great!
Based on reviews I saw on amazon for these and similar ice pop makers, I chose to try these out. They are GREAT! I got 2 sets of them. One set I filled with juice and the other set I filled with blueberry yogurt. I left a bit of room at the top for expansion and was sure to have them standing in the freezer (a plastic container served well to keep them upright). The tops did NOT pop off as some others have experienced. I foresee I'll want to order another 2 sets for summer time, because my kids go through these fairly quickly! When they came out of the freezer, all I had to do was run a bit of warm water over them quickly, and then carefully kinda smoosh the sides with my hand for a couple of seconds to loosen them, and they worked great. The frozen treats slide right up as advertised. The blueberry yogurt is a family favorite now - it's so delish! You can make your own with less sugar (and save money) by taking a big container of plain yogurt. Then take your fruit of choice. Pop the fruit into a blender and add a bit of sweetener (maple syrup, honey, stevia, etc). If you like, you could then cook the fruit and sweetener a little bit (in a microwave for about a minute per 2 cups of fruit or on the stove in a small pan for maybe 5-10 mins on medium heat). The cooking just helps break down the fruit a little more and makes a bit of a syrup out of the sweetener as well. Once you have your fruit ready (be sure to cool it before adding to the yogurt), mix the fruit/sweetener mix into the plain yogurt - add a tablespoon at a time into the ice pop sleeve until you have the amount you like (for me, a large container of plain yogurt and about a 1/2 cup to a cup of fruit/sweetener is more than enough...I err on the side of less, personally). Then, dollop it into the ice pop by the spoonful until it is about 1/2 inch from the top (or so). Put the cover on (tightly!) and slide it into the freezer. We are only able to wait about 3 hours before we have to dig in! These are also great with just plain blended fruit (I didn't care for doing this with blended grapes, but that's just me). My favorites are: strawberries and blue berries (all berries, really), watermelon (delish!), apples/apple sauce (needs a bit more sweetener sometimes for my taste), melons, peaches, pears (again, I like to sweeten pears a little or they taste a bit bland), lemon and oranges (!!! mostly the juice, and a little of the pulp. Sweeten the lemons a bit more, and it's so good!), really the sky is the limit. You could probably do this with pudding as well (but I haven't tried that yet). These are easy to clean. If you rinse them out with warm water shortly after they've been used, there's rarely anything left inside that needs further cleaning. If you don't get to them for a while, I use a sponge on a stick, and if any bits are still left in there, I use a thin paint brush that I swirl around inside. I would definitely recommend these!!!

It's Just OK - Not GREAT! My kid deserves the BEST
I'm a 33 year old husband and father with a 2 year old. I don't write a ton of reviews but I use them a whole lot when I shop on Amazon so I've decided recently to start writing some reviews to help people out just like I like to be helped out when I'm deciding on making a purchase. I compared Norpro with this brand -Ice Pop Molds. Best 4 Piece Popsicle Maker Set - New Design Beats Old Ice Cream Trays, Bags or Sticks. Make Frozen Fruit Pops or Other Flavors. FDA Approved Silicone Lolly Molds are BPA Free. Includes 30 Free Recipes and 365 Day Money Back Guarantee and the difference was clear to see. First off, I usually don't even do the purchases for the home and more specifically for my son but my wife got ill back in April of this year and I've been picking up the slack as much as possible. Back in April, I bought this ice pop mold set for my son and everything was fine ..... at first. After a few months and a few uses they began to give off an odor all the ice pops we actually made with the molds had a sort of "plastic" taste to it. Very uncomfortable for me - much less for my son. I decided to throw them out but we'd had such fun with these bad boys that I decided to see if I could find better ones. Ones that didn't smell and give off that bad taste. I did some research and found a review which helped me a lot. Since she said it so well I'll just quote what she said; "I'm no expert but as it turns out from my research NOT all "food grade silicone" are created the same. With regards to food grade, the quality of the silicone makes all the difference. The reason the silicone molds started giving off this odor is most likely because it was made from a poor quality grade silicone that's usually stuffed with plastic fillers!" This was SUPER helpful to me. She mentioned another brand "Cookhouse ice pop molds" she found that basically had a better quality silicone and therefore avoided the bad odor and taste I just got these today and I'm hoping for a much better experience. I also just figured out I can update my Amazon review so I will come back later and update this review with my findings.

They seal pretty well in freezer although i try and leave them facing upwards if possible. The only issue is that its not always easy to get the ice cream/sorbet out and you end up squishing it to a pulp to try and free the end.
