Good cat bowl

My cats really like this bowl but the dry food does spill out since it’s very shallow. Still it’s good since it’s easy on their whiskers.

Help Your Kitties Diminish Whisker Fatigue When Eating

Pros: this is a slightly wider dish that helps my kitties not get whisker fatigue because of the interesting design with 4 areas with a lower rim. Easy to clean, sturdy, and solid material. Works for dry food. (Haven't tested wet food) Cons: they are more circular, wish they were longer, rectangular. Tips: These work for dry cat food, these are not for water.

my cat doesn't eat a hole in the middle of her food

before using this bowl, my cats would always eat out of only the center of their bowls. they would pester me to fill their bowl when it seemed to be full and fresh, except for the center. after doing some light research, I found out that regular bowls actually hurt their whiskers! that being said, this bowl is a game changer. my cat isn't flinging it off the table because of the grips at the bottom. she is able to eat the food all the way across the bowl, as if she doesn't have whiskers at all. Also-- I noticed that she is pestering me less than ever. she barely gives me any affection now which is kind of sad and disheartening. maybe she never loved me at all. am I truly just a food dispenser to her? anyway, this bowl works great to not hurt your cats whiskers, if you're looking for more attention from your cat, don't get this bowl, otherwise, its a great buy.

cat likes this bowl and eats better

nice color. made out of nice material. cat seems to eat better. some of the kibbles do come out of the bowl but doesn't bother me to pick up since it helps with whisker fatigue

Perfect!

This is the perfect bowl for my cats wet food. She’s an exotic shorthair so she needs a flat bowl that she can get her face down into. I love the sturdy material it’s made out of and the nonslip feet pads on the bottom. A+!

Nice except for a couple of small things

These are nice. I wish the company would have used a different glue when they affixed the big round label. It was tough to get off. Also I sometimes use the Microwave for 5 seconds to warm up wet food that was in the fridge but the label says do not microwave. Bummer.

Nice feeding dishes.

I like these dishes a lot for my cats. Really good for small kittens. Three or four can eat together easily. Well made and easily cleaned.

I do love the design. It is really very cat friendly. However, one bowl was broken when I received. Suggest for better packaging in the future.

The best cat bowls I have ever used - and I run an animal rescue charity...

I do not understand ANY of the negative reviews on this site. We have five cats and the difference in their eating patterns the minute I introduced these five bowls was huge. My stress levels fell immediately. They were all content eating within their own individual bowl - none of that swapping and scuffing around to get to the best place anymore - which I thought was normal! (what I now realise it was - was to obtain the most accessible food within different shaped bowls). NO food spillage over the edge. They could GET to their food instead of licking it out over the top. The bowls are a really good size 17cm across - not 7cm as says on website. They are really quite heavy for their size and have four rubber, totally slip-proof feet underneath. They look dead cool!! You can stack them perfectly. You can put them in the dishwasher. AND totally made of bamboo and rice husk! Biodegradable - ultimately. Their website also sells deeper dog bowls - great as water bowls - you could have an eco, happy and neat looking kitchen with these guys.

Not for my cats

Bought two of these as I have one cat who consistently makes a mess with his food and, having read that cats don't like their whiskers touching the sides of their dishes, this design seemed ideal. However, he makes even more mess with this one and, after trying it with my other cat, she is now getting food everywhere. The wave edge makes them look as though they may make eating from them more comfortable, but, in my case, it just meant that my cats pushed the food out of the dish more easily. They aren't that large either so, all in all, a wasted purchase for me and I shall pass them on to someone else. Previous reviewers mentioned labels being hard to remove - this was no issue at all with mine.

Good but...

It is a bit porosus so a bit harder to clean than a ceramic bowl - this is really just a very mild difference. And while on the cleaning it is a tod harder I feel like the food is not slipping as much so on that front it's a bit better for kitten. The wavy edge is a great idea but I find the wet food all around because the low edge is very low and if thats where the food is gets pushed it overflows. While I think the design and idea is great as based on reducing/eliminating whiskers fatigue it is very wide so not sure if it is even relevant. Im glad that the industry is yrying to become more sustainable; i wish the pet food industry would follow with their packaging! Additionally, the posting title says/said food bowl and water bowl buy you only get the low food bowl. Contacted amazon and they confirmed that it is misleading. Just bear that in mind because I think you can get just this cheaper elsewhere.

Best cat bowls ever!

We have had a lot of cats and cat bowls over 40+ years, these are the best ever! The bowls are strudy, have weight so do not move around (plus little rubber feet) and are well designed. Althought the sides are high enough to hold their food, they are low enough to allow easy access to kittens and the clever scooped-away shape minimises the annoying interference with their whiskers suffered from some bowls. This also means that one person can securely carry three bowls at once, so all our kittens get their food at the same time, avoiding any upsets! The pink colour and "creamy" texture are both oddly pleasing, and it is good to know theyr are made from bamboo, not oil from underground. That they should not be put in a dishwasher is no hardship, as they are easy to wash up. We are very pleased with the bowls, highly recommended.

Perfect, exactly what I wanted for my cats.

Got 6 of these for my 3 cats. There fantastic, I bought them as their shallow and I've read that cats can get whisker fatigue with dishes that aren't wide enough. The only downside (and it doesn't put me of at all) is that the wet cat food drys quicker in these bowls compared to one's that aren't as shallow. It's not a problem though as my cats usually graze on there good and eat it all before it has chance to dry. I also use these for dry food aswell. They get washed everyday and are still in great condition. I don't use these for water as I don't think they would be deep enough in my opinion.
