Too flat to be adjustable
This pillow had potential. It has a cushy cover and seems like it would stay cool and the stuffing is soft. The reviews I read when purchasing (somehow these have disappeared and I’m the first reviewer...) said it came with extra stuffing to make it full, medium or flat. When I opened the pillow it had instructions that said it was already “overstuffed” and you could remove stuffing to fit your preferences. There is no way this pillow is overstuffed. It’s medium filled at best. If it had more filling it would have potential. But after 2 nights of waking up with a sore neck it is going back.

High quality pillow
This pillow is great. It’s got a nice stay cool feature. The pillow also allows you to adjust the fullness since it’s overstuffed. After using for 5 months I was very pleased with the purchase.

Very Comfortable
I’ve been on the search for a decent pillow for a while, going through quite a handful that claimed some bold claims. To say I was reluctant about the Molecule Pro is an understatement. With claims of “unique heat conducting fibers” and “optimize restorative sleep cycles”. While I think a lot of this is bold manufacturer claims, just how comfortable the pillow is undeniable. They say it is “overstuffed” so you can remove some filling to get it just right. However, I didn’t really find it to be overstuffed..rather just the right amount of stuffing. I also did feel like there was a some sort of cooling potential of the pillow. In the past I’ve used some memory foam pillows that just made my head HOT…which is not the case with the Molecule. Being CertiPUR-US certified foam is good to know there is no VOCs or dangerous chemicals in the pillow. That is very important. The foam inside of the pillow is in a bunch of pieces, which gives the pillow the ‘adjustability’. Removing whichever is needed to make the pillow just perfect. If you are looking for a firm pillow though, I would look elsewhere. I’ve used the pillow for a couple of months now, and it has deflated a bit, but I remedied it by moving the filling around. Overall, I have been happy while using the pillow. I found it to be comfortable and I get decent sleep while using the pillow.

Nice, but nothing special
I have mixed feelings about this pillow. I had super high hopes, as it's a well known brand and the price seems high enough to ensure great things. However, in reality, it feels like a pretty average pillow to me. It comes well packaged rolled in a tube and shipped in a Molecule-branded cardboard box. The presentation is nice, and it comes with a little info card. I'd hoped that since this is supposed to be such good quality, the memory foam wouldn't smell at all, but unfortunately I had to let it air out for a few weeks before I felt comfortable sleeping on it (though I am hyper-sensitive to chemical smells). Definitely better than some of the more sketchy quality pillows I've bought, but not as good as I'd hoped. The foam itself is little chopped up pieces, and in order to "adjust" the pillow, you have to just scoop some of it out. Not a very official process, and a little tricky to accomplish without spilling foam everywhere. I also don't love touching it - it feels a little chemical-y to me. Since my pillow didn't come with a bag for extra foam (would've been a nice touch), I just stuck it in a grocery bag. My pillow arrived extremely overstuffed, and I removed 6 heaping handfuls of foam to get it to where it was comfortable (I'm a side/stomach sleeper). As far as the "cooling technology" - I definitely didn't notice any difference between this and my regular pillow. Once it's encased in a pillow protector and a pillowcase, it holds heat just like any other pillow will, regardless of the material used. So it definitely does seem like a very average pillow that's just been talked up a whole lot. That being said, it is quite comfortable, and my neck seems less stiff in the mornings. Definitely don't think it's worth what they're asking, though.

Slept so hot! Wanted to like it but not for warmer days!
So this does have a very nice pillow cover that's well-designed and looks good. It was easy to unzip and remove just the right amount of fluff to make it soft and comfortable. The memory foam smell took a long time to dissipate but once it did, it was completely gone. My problem was that after sleeping on this I just woke up with the back of my neck and head so sweaty and hot. I was really frustrated because I wanted to like this pillow. If you love memory foam pillows and don't mind the memory foam feel/heat, this is a good one, but if you sleep hot, it's not worth the expense.

A lot of care went into making this pillow
My inclination at first was to give this pillow a decent rating of three stars. I think the claim of “air-cooling technology for optimal recovery-focused sleep” is marketing-jargon bunk, and that the supposed cooling effect this pillow and its cover have is minimal at best. Put your head on it and see: In 3 seconds it feels like any normal pillow in terms of temperature. But the more I read about this super-soft, comfortable pillow, and the more I slept on it, the more I liked certain aspects about it. Most pillow manufacturers probably don’t put so much care into their products, and there are a number of highlights of this item that stand out. For one thing, the pillow comes “overstuffed,” but you can easily remove the stuffing if you want. I like my pillows flat, so that’s a nice option for people like me. Plus, they included a plastic bag for any stuffing that’s removed. Nice touch. The pillow is also “customizable” to fit the shape of your head and how you generally sleep, for supposedly better resting results. It’s hard to say how true this may be, but I appreciate the effort that went into trying to make people as comfortable as possible when sleeping. The included card lists all these features and more, along with details on how to wash both the pillow cover and the pillow. Molecule seems like a company that puts forth great effort toward its products and truly cares about the quality of rest its customers get.
