Powerful and Lasts under hard use in saltwater
I installed this pump June 2015 and it's now the end of the 2021 season so going on 6 seasons of hard use. Mounted to the inner stern bulkhead of my Grady White with continuous and only salt water usage on the slip and offshore. Constantly exposed to saltwater deck runoff and salt air drips on it too. End of every season i ran pink through it to winterize. It's looking pretty crusty but i believe if i had spray coated it with CorrosionX 90104 it would still be intact with no corrosion. i've used this on my trim motor on my skiff since 2011 and no signs of corrosion so i guess i would add that with this purchase.

Does NOT come with switch panel
Just arrived today. Front of box states it comes with a 2way panel switch and on the side of the box, the components list does NOT state the switch panel. I didn't need the switch but the price should reflect the cost of the missing part.

Great Pump
This pump has plenty of power and easy to install. I would have gave it 5 stars if it came with a through hull and mesh strainer like on a livewell pump. I bought one of these separately to install because I would rather stop most of my debris outside the boat vs getting stuck in my inlet hose, or have to disconnect the strainer on the pump to clean it out.

Nice powerful unit
Installed this pump in my 24 foot open fisherman. Wow what pressure this thing has. Would recommend this product to anyone And everybody.

Update: I had no clue what I was missing by not having a washdown on a boat. Makes life so much easier. Had it for about a year now. Pump is strong and shoots the stream surprisingly far, really good pressure and the auto on pressure switch works perfectly. The little mesh screen in the filter assembly did rust out pretty much completely but i have only used it in saltwater. Had this on the boat for a few weeks now. It's really really nice having a was down. Functions as it should so far and it basically includes almost everything you need to mount it and get it working.

Quality product
17yrs on my last johnson pump.. removed pump from front of boat, reinstalled in the rear and added an 2nd wash hose. DIY difficult is 4-5 due to rewiring of power.

Loses pressure and prime a lot. Not much pressure.
I installed this on my dock and adapted pvc pipe to it with about a two foot draw from dock to lake. The pump works, but it loses pressure a lot, loses prime, and doesn’t build the pressure my garden hose does. I’d recommend going with another item. The hose is also very short.
