Good cheap file that works.
It works like a regular file and removes metal. I can't complain because it's a fraction of the cost of a box store file. I'm using it on annealed steel so I can't comment on how it works on hardened steel. As far as what I'm using it for it seems fine. The teeth and groove lines are very even and doesn't have that "cheap" feel. I did round out the corners and grinded the ribs off the edge since I don't use that part of the file. After modifying it works exactly like I want it to. I've used it for heavy grinding and stock removal and it's working like a champ.

Good file - wrong measurements in description
It's a flat bastard - so far so good. The Amazon listing said it was three (3) inches wide. It's not. Other than that, it's a decent file.

Can't Complain About the Price
Not top quality files but where are you going to get "top quality" files anymore. Even Nicholson is trash. These get the job done.

cheap in price and quality
The file pattern is VERY rough and uneven, and rust all over. It will file what you need it to, but you can definitely find something of better quality and performance for just a little more.
