Worth the $

Would have and still want to give it 5 stars but the needle tip gets clogged from time to time and I don't know or have figured out how to prevent that! U have a cigarette lighter that I SPARINGLY use to heat the needle carefully not melting the plastic which clears the clogged needle! Not optimal but!!!!! Otherwise I really like it!!!

Works well, but there are some technique issues

Works well but there are a few caveats. If used with Scigrip (Weld On) 4 or other organic solvents (e.g. ethylene dichloride) used for plastic welding, be aware that the solvent can evaporate through the walls of the bottle. Put the solvent in, do the job, then put the excess back in an impervious metal or glass container. When first filled and handled, especially on a warm day, vapor phase expansion will cause some squirting when the bottle is inverted. Hold it away from the work piece until the squirting subsides, then apply the solvent to the work.

Good Value

It works but clean up is a little difficult. The needle is right for applying glue but it also makes it difficult to clean so the glue doesn't dry up in the needle.

Great for RA Liquid Flux!

I'm actually using this as storage/applicator for type RA liquid flux. Works great and was the cheapest Prime version of this item I was able to find. Doesn't leak and even though the liquid flux is mostly ethanol, it hasn't shown any significant evaporation of the flux. As for as it's listed purpose, no clue. It's probably fine?

I have no experience in using acrylic glue or plexiglass. I don't know if there is different thicknesses in the glue/cement or not. I bought acrylic cement and this bottle to use on my project because the acrylic cement just came out way to fast from the tube it was in. After placing the cement in this bottle I could not get any of the cement out through the needle at all. I ended up pulling the needle out of the lid and drilling a slightly bigger hole. Works really good now. Maybe good product and just user error. Also cost to much for just a small plastic bottle and a needle in my opinion.

Great for acrylic adhesives!

We use this as part of our acrylic adhesive toolset. Very easy to work with and doesn't make a mess.

Excellent expoy welder.

This product does a excellent job of bonding plastics, especially the Lexan case I built as a display case. Once bonded the edges do not come apart! Be careful to only apply a small bead to the point where the two edges come together. The sealant will penetrate between the two edges and weld them together.
