worked for what i needed it to.
Used to put down for a transition from pergo flooring to tile, worked pretty good, just have to be patient to ensure the glue gets hot and the edges stick.

Its easily applied using iron
Its easily applied using iron, just take it slow allowing the glue to heat and will trim off with box cutter. The material is flexible and very strong. If you need to adjust the strip just reheat and move it. After an hour of cooling, it is pretty much there even with reheating.

This edging became the perimeter of a clock I built. Once sanded and varnished it contrasted beautifully with the pine board of the clock's face. With heat from a fat iron it glued easily and nicely to the wood of the clock.

Cool product to add some exotic real wood inlay nearly anywhere
This is an interesting product. I haven’t had a chance to see how it lasts for the long run but I can let you know some general observations about it. First of all, it is real wood. It isn’t stained the color/ kind of wood that you order, you actually get an extremely thin strip of real wood. This has mostly pros, but a few cons. The pros are that it reacts like wood, it can be stained like wood, glued like wood etc. It isn’t some sort of resin, it’s wood with easily understood characteristics and properties. It has a fairly thick layer of glue on one side and this is how it’s applied. This is a bit of a finicky process and because it’s real wood and very thin, it curls around and can splinter and break and you don’t use reasonable care. It helps if you can cut it to size, but some projects require one long strip. It can be steamed to shape, but it comes curled up and tends to want to revert to that form. I am also concerned that if it isn’t stained or sealed in some way that it could dry out too much and crack. I bought two sets, this eight foot set wasn’t too bad for curling, but it was too short for my project. I had to order a second set and connecting the two sets became a bit of a puzzle as I needed them to match without too much of a seam. The walnut is beautiful wood and having two inches of it is gorgeous. I think it’s a cool product to give people the chance to add so many types of inlay to their projects. Once I started working with this wood I started to think of all sorts of places that this could add a bit of extra class. I’ll see how it holds up and if it needs to be stained before I get carried away, but it has a lot of potential!

Good quality veneer
Liked the 2 inch width. Thick enough for light sanding. Iron on glue adhered well. Easy to trim and sand edges.
