Handsome Mantle Clock

This clock is perfect for my mantle. I wanted a fairly small clock that would be easy to see from sofa. It’s clean design fits with any decor and it’s very well made. Super happy with the quality of this clock and it’s lovely, clean design.

Disappointed

Liked the look of this clock and fits in the space I bought it for, but for about 6 months of the 10 months I have had it it worked great and now I put in new batteries about every week to keep the time correct. Wish I could return it.

Not luxurious, but nice

Not as heavy as its predecessor on my mantlepiece was -- so probably more plastic than the old one. But the one it's replacing started corroding, so there's that to be said for plastic, and you can see from the pictures on-line what it looks like. And as the manufacturer says (and despite what someone said in reply to a question) it is a silent sweep movement -- no ticks.

Clock runs slow even after different battery replacements

After only 2 months of use, this clock starts to run slow at first by a couple of minutes then goes up to 15 minutes slow. I use the same brand batteries for my old clock & they used to last at least 6 months. Even after replacing with different brands batteries, I notice it would start to slow after just 1 month with energizer & 2 months with Duracell or a rechargeable type battery. Too bad it's past the return period but a nice quality clock like this one shouldn't be defective so soon. I love the look & feel (quality) of the clock but the mechanism must be defective. Does anyone know if there's a way to adjust this?

Very Elegant Desk or Table-top Clock

I am very pleased with this Bulova brass desk clock - it is both simple and elegant, and is the perfect size for my antique desk. It was a snap to set up, requiring only 1 AA battery. As soon as that was installed, the clock began running immediately, and all I had to do was to set the time. I have several small decorative items on that desk, as well as photographs, and this clock was the perfect complement to what was already displayed. I particularly liked the two small "columns" on either side, and the Roman numerals. The second hand is a constant sweep. All in all, a lovely clock and I'm really happy I found it.

CLASSY AND SHARP - BUY ONE, you’ll have the TIME of Your Life

I bought this for my mom who had a cheaper, plastic Clock in the family room. This was a birthday present for her 89th birthday, and she was thrilled when she open the package, and we have been even more thrilled since. Several months now and the time is perfectly accurate to cell phone time, the clock face is very classy, but very clear and readable from across the room, and it looks terrific sitting on a marble shelf on our brick hearth. Brass is real - yes, Not panther plastic junk! Classy and sharp. Buy one for you or gift and you’ll have the TIME of your life!!

Worked for two months only

I am changing my rating. I bought the click for its clor and good quality. Less thank 6 months of buying the clock. My clock is giving the time way behind the actual time. I have changed batteries twice and tried to change time too but within a day the clock runs slow and time is 6-8 hrs behind. Very disappointed to spend so much money for a useless clock.

La durabilité des engrenages à long terme pour l'aiguille des secondes.

Très belle et heure bien lisible de loin. Les premières roues d'engrenages tourne très vite, par conséquent j'ai des doutes sur l'usure prématurée. J'aurais préférer un engrenage plus lent sans aiguille des secondes afin d'augmenter la durée de fonctionnement dans le temps. Je suis quand même très satisfait de cette horloge.
