Used it with Dewalt 892 sds max for 15 min and the tip is 1/2 gone.

Just chipping concrete with no rebar and the tip is all chewed up already. Not impressed AT ALL. And I’m a fan of Bosch stuff and their sister company Freud (Diablo) blades are all I ever buy. But this isn’t made well. That’s with the Dewalt DCH892 SDS Max. It’s powerful but it’s not break the freaking bit powerful!!

Gets the job done

I used this made in China chisel for breaking up some real smooth river rock buried in the ground while digging holes for Sonotubes. While it gets the job done, I noticed the the leading edge had worn out rather more than I expected as opposed to the old made in Germany ones. Sign of the times I guess.

Does a good job

I needed something to help break out concrete and remove old 4x4 fence posts. At depths approaching 3 ft, I needed something longer than my 12" hand chisel. While not specifically for a hand chisel application, this device helped. However, I ended up getting a 72" "spade" designed to dig around posts. These spades looked flimsy on line, but in reality the one I used was quite robust and performed very well as a long chisel.

Like the length, but dulls fast

Like the extra length of this bit; easier on the back. But, it does seem to go dull fast. Used an angle grinder to get the tip back in shape. With the longer shaft, should be able to do this a few more times. Would prefer harder steel or carbide tip. But, haven’t found anything like that yet.

Bosch quality in a rugged chisel..

I had a need for this chisel to break up the concrete base of several fence posts. The long 18" length made it easy to get down into the hole and do a quick job of breaking up the concrete into small pieces for easy removal. The Bosch chisel will last a lifetime and I've had numerous Bosch air hammer products that are still as good as new after years of service. Great value for a premium product.

So far so good!

I haven't used this on concrete yet, but it sure came in handy when I was digging a hole in some DG and clay. The extra length is very nice to have around I'm sure I''l be using this for more than I planned on.
