Mosquito / Insect Bite - Instant Relief

As someone who is constantly bitten by mosquitoes and bug, I find it hard to resist the urge to itch the skin area. I heard about this product and thought I give it a try. First off, it is battery operated. It requires 2 AAA batteries which are included in the packaging. Once you attach the batteries to the device, you have an on/off switch on the side. To turn on, you turn on the switch. 1 tap give you half power and 2 quick taps give you full normal power. The plate heats up and provide relief to your insect bite. The itching feeling will go away and it will take some time for the bite to go away. however, it appears to be effective to give you relief from itching the insect bite. Worth giving it a try especially when its on sale. Wished it came with a carrying case, but not a big deal. Definitely check it out.

This ingenious device really works!

Every time I get bit by an insect, I have pain, swelling, & itching for weeks. Not anymore! This little device absolutely prevents that from occurring. Bug season started yesterday for me with a black fly bite. I used the Beuer bug bite healer & was amazed that it relieved all the normal symptoms that usually accompany a bite. Other reviews have mentioned that it can sometimes be too hot, but I didn't find that to be the case at all. Yes, it was hot but not excruciating whatsoever. I will never be without this gadget in the future. A+!

instant Bug Bite relief

This is a great little product. This little thing works great and provides instant relief. One needs to apply it immediately within an hour or so for effectiveness. We live near a pretty wet area and there are always bugs in summer. All of my family use this and it has been a great savior. This is a must have for anyone who is allergic to bug bites (especially mosquitoes). Best of all, this is chemical free, has no side effects and provides instant relief. Thanks Beurer for a great product.

This great little gadget is a must if you're a mosquito magnet like me

I gave this Beurer BR60 a try after my Bite-Away version stopped working. I'm pleased to say the Beurer version not only works great, but the size is even better for travel. The power switch on the side is a nice touch. The overall design of the product is easy to hold and use. I have allergies to mosquito bites, and creams and after bite sprays don't really help. So far these ceramic heat devices have been pretty good at helping relief the itch, but also seem to shorten the overall duration of the bite.

My biggest gripe is that there’s an on off switch I have to remember to flip. I had another one that was always ready, just put the burn buttons. I decided to go with this one for the size - super potable, easy to use and does a decent job burning out the poison.

Mosquitoes LOVE ME!!! But it works well, very compact and easy to use

Really works well to alleviate the itching from bug bites. Any mosquito within 10 miles finds me and leaves me itching, and sometimes bleeding from scratching the bite. This reduces the itching ALOT so I am not aggressively scratching. The heat takes a bit to get used to but is NOT panful. t's the heat that neutralizes the bite! Would recommend it.

Amazing result

My friend recommended this and she did mention that the heat can be a little too much for kids, however, with this Summer in Texas, with all the bugs and mosquitoes bite, this thing is a life saver ! I’m actually getting 5 more for all my siblings back in Malaysia !!!!

It works

I’ve been fighting Misquitos all my life! This little guy cuts the itching and swelling two fold. In the past my bites would last 3 days and I would have to take an antihistamine for relief! I really recommend this guy and treat it as soon as you know you got a bite or sting!

Just Buy It!

Um this works. I don’t understand how but it does. Mosquitos LOVE me. The second I stepped out of the car at our cottage I got 3 bites. I used this on the short setting and the itch stopped and they never bothered me again and kinda disappeared. So here is the thing. This is not for kids. You have two settings. Short (3 seconds) and long (5 seconds). The device provides HEAT to the bite. I’ve never used the 5 seconds because I can barely tolerate keeping the heat on the spot for 3. I do think this could cause burns as some reviewers have stated. Just use it wisely. Start with short and don’t use on children or sensitive skin. I think it’s better to repeat a 3 second than to do the 5. Other than that this is the best invention since slice bread. And penicillin. Also I haven’t tried this yet on an older bite so I’m not sure what would happen if you got a bite, itched it and then like an hour later or more tried to use it. You won’t always have it handy to do right away.

Must have

I dealt with itchy bites all my life using creams that barely work, saw this product and did some research, decided to try with a hot spoon first and to my surprise I was itch free for at least 24h, so I got this to make my life easier and wow, it does hurt especially on sensitive parts but the pain is satisfying and doesn't burn the skin, I'm itch free for a day and within a few days the bites are gone, I don't think I could live without this now!

It works!

I was sceptical when I came across this item. However, creams and other anti scratch products were relatively ineffective, so what the heck. I find this little gem to be amazing. Give a mosquito bite a hit, wait a few seconds, and the itch is gone. In addition, the effect works for hours. If after that extended period the itch returns, give it another shot for more hours of relief. Be aware that the first time you use it, you think that you are going to give yourself a burn that will leave a scar. It feels that hot. But it leaves no residual marks whatsoever. Depending upon where you use it, the heat you feel varies. In some spots, be ready to grit your teeth because it hurts. But again, it works! To lend some perspective, I don't think that a child could tolerate the sensation.

what an invention :)

It is outright suffering here in northern NSW during spring and summer with all those mosquitos and other little creepycrowlers (the ones so small you dont see them but their bite is nasty) and although we bought practically every cream and spray to stop the biting and itching, nothing really helped. And then we found this Beurer insect and Bite Relief gadget here on Amazon...and tried now since receiving a few days ago. We still get stung, that doesnt change, but the pain and itching no longer gets to us: we zap it away with Beurer. The great thing is that now because there is no itching after being bitten by yet another *^%#$%%$** mosquito (the Beurer stops the itching), you dont scratch yourself trying to stop this itching, making the healing much faster and itching much less annoying. So our (my husband and I) verdict? Everyone should get this Beurer, it is worth every penny you pay for it. Small size, easy to carry, even in jeans pocket, works brilliantly.

So far so good!

I tried it on my first bite today. I was actually bitten yesterday and didn't get around to using it the next morning. The itch reminded me that I had a bite. The product does get very hot, so I wouldn't recommend it on small children. It's been about 10 minutes and the itch is gone. It's pretty amazing!!!! The product comes with batteries, which is a nice bonus.
