Worked fine on my boat- note bow ends!

These are shallower than the ones I was replacing on my boat. They are angled internally in both directions- you really can’t screw up the installation in that regards. The cover support bows I had fit well; as long as the contour of the ends of said bow was properly shaped to the gunnel of the boat. When the contour is correct, the bows felt very solid in this socket. For added strength and security, I have all of my bows tied together down the center, and that main line is tied off on both ends of the boat as well. This provides a lot of added support for the cover too. I have used this method for many years with great success. I’m only rating the product 4/5 because I wish they were deeper. Otherwise, they’re nicely made and serve their intended purpose.

Looks nice

Not only does it work well. It looks great like chrome. Doesn't come with screws but easy to find whatever works best for you at the hardware store

Not very angled, and very loose fitting for the bow.

I didn't like much about this item except for the ease of installation. It's way too loose for the width and thickness of the fiberglass bows that they sell (Atwood).I had to tie it from bow to stern to keep the bow from falling out of the slots

These bow sockets are flatter than the plastic sockets much sturdier, and make the boat look like they were professionally installed.. the plastic ones we had, we were always catching our cloths or towels on.. or scratching ourselves on..
