This is not the tool I was looking for

I have no reason to rate this purchase low, but I also cannot tell you if it works. You see, what I failed to realize is that this tool here can only be used for a more modern rather than the forty-year-old one I am attempting to remove. Before purchasing, make sure your drain has cross members that divide the drain into quarters. If you have an older type that has only two small nubs on opposite poles of the drain, like me, you are going to need another tool, which is yet to be found. But holding the tool in hand, it feels solid and like it would be a fitting tool for the job it needed, so I plan on holding on to it, I feel it may come in handy down the road.

Too small for older drains

Purchase a pair of long needle nose pliers instead.

Not wide enough for bathtub drain

Forgive me if this is already included in the description, but this wrench is not wide enough to handle a tub drain. Sink is fine.
