Works like a champ

The media could not be loaded. Looks very real and scares the ducks away. Scaring my wife is a bonus ????. For people saying it needs a hook for tethering, go grab some fishing line and some heavy sinkers. Tie it around the mouth, attach the sinkers and voila it's tethered. The result is shown in the video.

Realistic looking especially if its teathered in the middle of your pond.

It needs an eyelit on the bottom so you can tie a line to it and let it floot in the center of your pond. i have mine teathered and it floots around looking at the shoreline looking very realestic. if you dont teacher it will up stuck in a corner.

Keeps the pigeon's away from the pool

Snappy, our decoy Alligator was purchased for the sole purpose of keeping the pigeons and ducks out of our waterfall/spillway in our spa/pool. We had dozens of birds taking baths and doing "what birds do" in our pool. As soon as we put Snappy in our spa and he swam over to the spillway, it was like magic. The birds went flying away. Oh yes, they went swooping by a few times, angry that a new guy was in town. But after a few tries to scare him off, they gave up. We have not had a single bird even try to take a bath, a swim or a drink in 8 months. He works perfectly. A five-star performer.

Don't let your dog get it.....

Well the product looked great! Put it in my pond and in less than 2 days my 5 month old puppy had grabbed it out and chewed its face off. Obviously this is no ones fault and the product did look good I just never had an opportunity to see if it actually kept the geese away. Beware if you have a dog, you might waste 30 bucks. LOL

Great product Realistic in pond.

Arrived in perfect condition fast shipping. Item was securely packaged in foam. After watching many reviews, the head floats perfectly on the surface of the water. Would definitely purchase again.

Very realistic and priced right!

We have had a pond for 27 years and up until 5 years ago we never saw a blue heron. However for the last 5 years one shows up around the end of April to early May. We know it has eaten fish before we get our protections out. Usually we cover the pond with a net which we find very detracting from what we wish to see. It does work but it is ugly. We also bought a fake heron this year. We read that the alligator decoy was also a good option. We are willing to try several ideas and alternate them around. This alligator head is the perfect size for our pond. It floats in the center with a weight keeping it in the lily leaves. It also appears to be very realistic. It is made well and was delivered promptly. We were happy to have another choice so as not to use the netting to cover the pond.
