Excellent for protecting chickens

Our area is full of chicken predators. I have bought two of these now. We use one to energize the parameter fencing insulators around the outside of our chicken coop, and chicken run--that one is a year old with no issues whatsoever. The second one I bought to use on the parameter of our chicken tractor. I mounted these energizers inside of the enclosures to keep them out of the weather elements. These have enough power to fry slugs, kill frogs, handle tall grass, and keep working with plenty of juice to spare--enough juice to make your feet hurt and talk really ugly to it if you forget to cut it off before doing your chicken chores. So far nothing has even attempted to bother our chickens. I cannot imagine any predator being able to endure such a shocking experience.

Works for Deer

I installed this system to keep deer out of my front yard. They had established a game trail right in front of my house and were browsing my plants and scrubs. I only needed to energize about 200 feet of wire, so the EAC25M was perhaps too much for the application. But it was the smallest unit that I could find that was rated for deer. The unit is not really weather proof, so I installed it under my deck inside of a plastic container. I have had the system installed now for about a month and the setup seems to be doing the trick.

Perfect for backyard chicken predator proofing/cattle horses you name it this fence can take it

Use this to secure my chicken run, it is powerful enough to keep anything out so far, I wouldn't think even a bear would make a second attempt if he got this snap on his nose! Update: I installed this fence in winter when I wore rubber insulated boots. When I touched the fence it didn't feel great but I figured with my boots off it would easily keep out raccoons. Now it's summer and I accidentally touched the fence wearing regular boots and it almost knocked me over ! That is very very powerful and I have absolutely zero doubts the fence is strong enough to prevent ANYTHING from attempting to breach my fence. If you have this, fair warning! My finger where the connection happened hurt for hours!

Causes no electrical interference like the old ones used to do.

After much research, I chose this model which most suits my needs. I'm consistently getting readings of around 9.000 volts. It can drop to as little as 5.000 and sometimes as high as 11.100 volts. Perhaps someone could enlighten me about the latter. It obviously works well. I have it on one small enclosure right now. I'll be adding a small paddock in a day or two. The plan is to gradually create a decent pasture and I'm sure this fencer will do the job. I'm using it in conjunction with a 48" woven fence and expect this to keep my goats safe.

Perfect for dogs and other animals

We have a 80lbs dog and it did stop him immediately from going out of the boundary without the need of additional fence. The shock is not to hard, but perfect vs the other brand that I purchase before that merely did I a small shock that we couldn’t even feel. I tried it, as well as my daughters before having our dog in contact with it. After two shocks he did not go near the fence anymore.

Big Zap

Started working immediately. No problems. Just out of the box so don't know longevity yet. Big zap when tested with a neon tester. Don't dare to touch and test like I did on my last one. Fence O.K. indicator light is dim but does show the fencer is working. Does not tell you how the fence itself is doing. Actual fence up keep remains with you.
