Get these work gloves!
These are phenomenal work gloves! I just bought a new pair after a year and a half of hard use! I finally wore a hole in the index finger. I use these gloves for everything. They are very durable and light. I highly recommend these gloves and other products by Youngstown Glove Company!

Rugged all around use for me!
Seems to be durable enough for me using in the regional park for maintenance of grounds! I would prefer a wider closing strap on the Velcro but that just my preference.

Worth it for safety
I have no idea if these will stop a chainsaw blade and I really hope to never find out. What I do know is I wear gloves when I use the saw anyway, so it is worth a little extra to get gloves that might possibly save my hand if I ever need them. The gloves are pretty comfortable but a little stiff for using as regular work gloves. My one gripe is they’re hot so my hands sweat, but again, if I ever have a blade come back at me and this saves my hand, I won’t be worrying about a little sweat. I used them this weekend while ripping up ceramic tile. Lots of little shards and jagged edges and no damage to the gloves. My hands sweat like crazy but were protected. Fit is good though I sized up to XL after reading reviews.

Good price but sizing a little small
These gloves are a bit thicker than originally thought. Size is a bit smaller than expected too. I used the glove sizing guide with the product images to find the ‘correct’ size and believed I was giving myself room to spare but after ordering and receiving XL gloves, in fit they are fine with finger length but a bit tight around the hand. Also, I hope these gloves have plenty of Kevlar mat in the back of both gloves. I do not want to put them to the actual cutting test.

Great for yardwork!
I purchased a pair of these gloves for hand protection while doing general yardwork (mowing, running a weed eater, raking leaves, etc.); they have been excellent as far as durability goes. They were quite stiff at first, and still are to some extent, but are breaking in after several uses now this spring. The terrycloth areas on the thumbs are great for wiping away perspiration and bits of leaves from one's face.

Good Protection...Thick
These are great gloves and provide a fantastic amount of protection. Have been using them in the emergencies services realm for day to day work and they have not failed. If there were to be a criticism it would be that they are THICK. With the Kevlar lining there is a noticeable increase in bulk. While this has not affect dexterity or performance it does make these gloves hot. After a short time you will have very sweaty hands. This could turn out to be a detriment when the weather turns cold as these gloves are not designed for keeping your hands warm...only safe. In cold weather they could actually help to make your hands cold because of moisture retention. We'll see about that. the sizing runs very true as a large is a large and a small is a small. That is always a nice benefit. I would highly recommend these gloves provided that you take into account the above noted considerations.

My goto pair for lawn work. Lasted for years.
I use these for every job outside that has a sharp edge, mower, clippers, pulling weeds, weed wacker. I also have a pair for the shop. The three pairs are my Kevlar gloves, my son's lighter weight gloves, and the winter version for snow shoveling (although I use the Kevlar for the snowplow). This is several YEARS of wear on the Kevlar ones and even tho the stitching is holding up, I am going to get a new pair.
