Like the look of this

First thing: when I pulled this out of the box, I was disappointed in the construction. The clock is thin and looked a little cheap. However, once it was hung in the kitchen, it really does look great. Like another reviewer, the black hands don't show when they hit certain areas of the clock (the areas painted in black). I painted the tips with white fingernail polish and everything is good.

Great time!

For some reason I can't explain over the years I have taken to making the Rooster the them of my kitchen. I have so much "rooster" items I can't begin to tell you. I did have a kitchen clock but it had a glass face. The clock itself keeps perfect time and is silent but it reflects all light, natural or man made and I can't read the face. This clock is perfect. It is light in weight and the colors, although a bit muted, are very well done and the clock looks like it fits right in with my theme. Oh yeah, it keeps perfect time. I am very happy with this clock. Very.

the only problem with this clock is the time indicators ...

the only problem with this clock is the time indicators. they are black and without proper lighting you will not be able to see them hence, no idea on time. I painted the arms white and all is good

Depending on the time, it can be hard to see the hands to really know what time it is. Other than that, so far it has kept good time.

Flimsy; not as sturdy or thick as I thought it would be. Not as bad as a piece of cardboard but wife likes it and that's all that matters.
