Great product, quick shipping; will buy more!

First, these cones are great. We ordered just before midnight and received a shipping notification in about 2 hours. Showed up the next day. Kudos on quick delivery especially amidst the COVID 19 pandemic. Review on product: We have used these for three butcherings and they have seen well over 100 birds at this point. The design and size has fit broilers at 8 weeks old and an average of 5.5 dressed weight along with older roosters in which were 20 week old Orpingtons and Australorps (large breeds). Admittedly, a large cone would have been an easier use for both birds, but I do not knock the product nor the company on my error of size selection. Simply stating for the next purchaser to size up. Cleaning has been simple. I wanted to note one area of concern as I take cleanliness within processing very important. The design of this cone creates a seam within the back of the cone in which can harbor bacteria if not appropriately cleaned. We have a large washtub in which these soak in hot soapy water after a day of processing. Recommendation: we may take this down to the shop and weld the seam to appease my OCD on cleanliness and ease of clean. Not necessary to 99% but I wanted to share why I rated only at a 4/5 for ease of cleaning. Overall: the product for the price was well worth the purchase. In the picture, you may notice we used an alternate product and design on the other side of our dispatch stand. We prefer the cylindrical cones as these yardbirds for our processing and will be ordering 6 cones to replace our four and increase our processing productivity.

Great little device

Used today for the first time. Worked really well. Very easy to use and made quick work if our 22 chickens. Very easy to clean and use. I think it's a lot less traumatic for the birds too

Simple but quality product

I bought the large and the medium because I was unsure about the fit for my chickens. I ended up using the larger for my Cornish broilers. They were probably about 7 to 8 pounds before butchered and came in between 5 and 6 fully dressed just for reference. Use: Very each to mount with just 2 screws just keep in mind if you mount to a wall or post as I did that the blood will drip onto what ever it is attached to. Over all the quality was good and the clean up was easy as there is not much to it. Nice simple but, effective design. Far better than having to hold the bird.

Is it a Cadillac? or a killing cone?

Super shiny Super thick Stainless steel cone is awesome. Not a single scratch, dent or fingerprint. Perfect spot welded seam not like those cold press pinched seams of the other manufacturers. This is almost to pretty. I might just have to get 2 more to hang on the porch to hold cut flowers. :) Very well done Yardbird!

Made well and durable but my broilers kept flopping out of it. Just used a stick to hold them in.

Great high quality kill cones

Great kill cones. Would have gone one size down. Butchered reds at 16 weeks and the cones were a little large for 5lb birds.
