Not a good product for my hair!

I was looking forward to using this product as I have yet to find a satisfactory hair wax. The product has a mild scent and great hold. The product made my hair appear greasy. My search continues. I miss the DeFi line orange lid.

My favorite for 10+ years

I have naturally curly that gets poofy & frizzy. This weighs my hair down (in a good way) and allows my to direct my hair where I want it to go. Great for keeping down "fly-aways". It does not get stiff or crispy nor make flakes. It stays invisible, besides the semi-wet look if you use alot (which i do, i coat my hair with way more than i need to). Hair is still movable & can restyle. You can feel a lite residue on your figures when u rub or squeeze your hair.

Still my favorite

I have been using this product for my Mens short textured hair styles for years. Yes it’s wax so it will build up in hair if not washed well. But a small amount will keep spiked or textured hair all day. Love it. Not for slick or comb over styles in my opinion.

Excellent hold for medium short hair

I use this wax in conjunction with Smooth Viking Holding Cream (High Hold + Matte) to achieve a hairstyle somewhere between a "Side Part" and "Messy." I have medium short hair, which is about 1" long (basically a #8 if you were to use clippers), so my hair is a little too long to style with gel, but still short enough where it will resist even medium hold creams/waxes. The Smooth Viking cream is a little cheaper per volume and has a matte finish, so I start styling my hair with that product, then finish off the front comb over with the Paul Mitchell wax. Word of warning: it's really easy to overuse the wax. Hair lengths and styles will likely vary the amount you'll need to use, but start with a less than a pinch on your first go. I love that this wax remains pliable throughout the day, so if my hair is disturbed I can brush my fingers through it to fix it. Only complaint is because it remains tacky/greasy throughout the day, it also easily clings to floating dust (or animal fur if you have pets) in the air. For that reason, and because it's slightly glossy, I would not use this product on my entire head of hair.

Makes hair look greasy, and impossible to get out.

I bought this wax a few days ago, and i can only say, that the only thing I want to do with it is throw it away. It is extremely hard to get off your hands once you put it on them, and also out of the hair. I tried to clean my hands with Water, hot and cold, with soap, and even with cleaning alcolhol, and the wax was stil sticking to my hands like glue. Also, the only affect it had on my hais was to make it look greasy. When I combed it,it looked like it hadn't been washed for a week. Speaking of styling: The wax made my hair too heavy to style, and I don't even have thin hair. Having had the matt paste by label m before this, I am utterly disappointed by this product, and it is definitely NOT worth the 18 pounds it cost me. It is still up to you to (not) buy this, but I can say with confidence, that I would absolutely not buy this product again. Thank you for your time reading this.

Use sparingly! Fab product. Beats other hard waxes I have used hands down.

Being a hairdresser I have tried many different races over the years. This is a hard wax and is very strong! You only need a little and yes it is hard to wash out - IF you use too much. Because it is salon strength a little goes a long way. I like to use this along with PM the conditioner and PM super skinny serum prior to diffusing my wavy hair. It gives it soft hold and nice definition to my naturally fluffy, fine, combination hair. Also fantastic for smoothing down flyaway hairs on hair up styles (better then hairspray).

This is suppose to be wax?

This is a weird product, considering it seems to be a very well establish brand I would have expected more from this. It's unique, so it has that going for it as this is unlike any other wax I've used, it actually more resembles Coconut Oil which is solid at room temperature and melts in your hand, all it does is make my hair greasy and though it does somewhat hold the hair in place it's way too heavy and way to greasy and yet all the while it's sold as a premium product at a premium price... that part makes it embarrassing to be honest. Definitely not firm style, definitely not dry wax Therefore, it's over priced and under performing
