I used it on a significantly less tough material than the file. The file did what it was supposed to. It was relatively inexpensive. No complaints.

Hard on files, this one does a good job

I use files for most types of steel and wood working and am not gentle on them, this one has a medium life based on using other files. use a card file and most of files will hold up unless the steel is soft and in that case throw them away and get better files. Recommend this file to others and get a card file to clean them.

Works really good with metal

This round file work's really good with metal. Comfort in hand I have big hands so it fit well. I had to use this file on a quarter size hole on metal I had to file out the inside of the hole it shaved the metal really good effortless. I'm going to buy the triangle file next I like the round one so much worth the money I spent.

Got Job Done

I'm more of a do-it-yourself type of person. This little round file served its purpose. Probably just as well as some of its more expensive files. Prompt delivery.

metal file pops out of plastic handle to easily!

Having the file pop out all the time makes using this file rather annoying... not what you want when your using a tool daily, other than that it would have been a five star review... is it possible this is a manufacturing defect ?
