securing strap needs improvement but a great safe and durable cover.
I purchased this cover for my razor sharp fred marvin pole saw/pruner set. I use this set on the deer lease which means I travel alot with it, and in a boat as well. One thing about the saw is it's razor sharp and catches on everything....including your skin. I was previously placing the pruning attachments in a 5 gallon bucket with other tools to bring on the lease. Not wanting to damage the very sharp blades or our flesh, I saw these covers and decided on the black rubberized synthetic sheath over the leather. it's high quality and I like it. Very durable material to protect everything else from the sharp blades but strong enough to not fall or get cut apart itself. The sheath was a good fit and had extra room for an even longer blade. Has protection on the blade end so the blades do not cut through the sheath stitching. It has gaps in the stitching at the ends to drain water and saw dust away. The only minor complaint was the securing strap (which is not leather and buckle like described in the ad) was too long in it's shortest adjusted position. It is a nylon strap with quick release buckles. But with the strap in it's shortest adjustment, the sheath was able to slide off the blade by about 11/2". Not a deal breaker, but the whole purpose is to completely cover the teeth of the blade. Weaver should correct this one issue and make it to be adjusted just slightly shorter, but it's still a fantastic sheath and I have purchased others for my hand saw as well. I would still give this 5 stars. The sheath securing strap is plenty long enough to accommadate whatever models this sheath will fit....it's just not short enough.

Weaver Leather Arborist 25 Pole Saw Scabbards
I bought the Weaver Leather Arborist 25 Pole Saw Scabbard for my HOSKO Pole Saw Pruning Saw, Blade but unfortunately the blade has a hook on the tip and is too wide to fit in the scabbard. https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B0896V9697?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2_dt_b_product_details I do plan on keeping it as I have other blades that it will work on, I will say that it is very well made and should last a lifetime. I would highly recommend the Weaver Leather Saw Scabbards for anyone looking for a sturdy well made scabbard.

Inexpensive but a little tight for the notch pole saw blade
It seems to do the job so far but I don't know if it'll hold up over time. Of course I think you get what you pay for with this one. My only problem is that the notch pull saw blade cuts on the pull stroke so it does get stuck sometimes. I suppose that problem will solve itself over time.

Fits Marvin 330 tri-edge with hook
Fits like a glove and like the strap that keeps it in. Only issue I had was USPS delivery as on journey it went from Memphis to Pittsburgh then back to Memphis and back to Pittsburgh.
