Comes with no directions as to cleaning
No advice on how to clean the "stone" that cleans the track. It does the job but gets black and dirty... They are pushing the limit on price, it's expensive for all it is. Basic.

Not So Hot
Product description DID NOT show that this was an HO-scale product. Package was torn, with the blister pack broken open. Product did not fit together well--had to be arm-wrestled. Small plastic piece broke off as I wrestled with it. Got it to work. Price was quite cheap. You get what you pay for.

Good value, very heavy wieght car
This item seems to be very well made and is extremely heavy weight, in fact so heavy that if one of your real joiners is holding a rail slightly too high the cleaning Stone on the bottom may catch it and actually stop the train from moving. It's very simple you just put the car on the track but there are no instructions for it, and the reason I pick this feature out is that it looks like you can adjust the height of the stone on the bottom of the boxcar but nothing tells you this maybe I am overthinking things?

Fantastic detail. Nice heavy weight... to a fault.
This car has fantastic detail. The grinding brick is removable from the bottom of the car. My son loves it. The car has a very solid feel to it and the wheels and trucks all operate as smooth as any. The only reason I knock it a star is that the weight of the car without the stone is still too much to make it through my switch tracks. This car will derail every time. It's not a huge deal, we just reverted to using this car in a different area. Would buy again, especially given the price.

broken parts
Delivered with a broken coupler. Not a big problem for me but can easily imagine situations where replacement might be difficult (right tools, replacement part availability, skill level, etc.).

It came "unbalanced" from the box. I never would have thought of checking that.
A portion of the frame was inside the shell.
