Decent looking jacket but not ideal for temperatures below 30

This was a replacement for a similar jacket bought on Amazon and recommended by them. It doesn't have sufficient insulation to adequately withstand temperatures in the 20 degree range. As sweaters drive me nuts, and I prefer something relatively light with great warmth, this misses the mark. However, it has a nice contemporary look.

The jacket looks great it’s very comfortable it fits a little big however there is no adjustment in the cuffs.

Attractive design to it...

I really like the quilted look to this jacket. My husband weighs 184 lbs and either takes a medium or a large in jackets. His problem is that his arms are fairly long and if you have long arms too, you won't be happy with this because if you lift your arms it tightens in the shoulders and makes the sleeves go way to high to be comfortable. It fits great otherwise. The sleeve length is 25" and the shoulder seams are 7". Down the back is 31". The bottom is about 45" around so if your hips are very big you might want to take what will feel comfortable into account here. The inside lining is thin and has 1 zipper pocket at chest area and a pocket at bottom front that is mostly open except for a tiny piece of Velcro that will close in the middle of it. The lining is 100gsm 3M Thinsulate Insulation. To me it looks like the same material used on foundation mattress frames, which is about the best way I can describe it. It's very thin. There are 2 outer pockets in front that has a snap closure. There is no hood. Corduroy is around the neck on inside and the inner lining is black with an orange bead being where seams would be and thus no seams show which makes that nice. The outer material is 100 percent polyester which is normally hot but since it's lightweight I don't think you will get too hot in it. Since it's thin, I don't think it would be appropriate for really freezing days except maybe in the warmer winter areas but it's great for fall and spring weather; although I live in Ky and never wear a very heavy coat in the winter myself. I may be wrong and it may be a lot warmer than I think. It only weighs about a pound so I may be thinking because it's not heavy it won't be as warm. I know I wear this style of jacket when it's 10 degrees outside and I always stay warm. This has some really stylish features to it and is really nice looking. It doesn't say it's waterproof but most are that are 100 percent polyester unless you went swimming in it. It will still get very wet in a downpour but you usually stay pretty dry underneath anyway. The front has both a zipper and snaps with corduroy on the flap underneath where it snaps together. It doesn't say here but I always machine wash these in cold water and lay flat to dry. My review is for the medium size.

Light Jacket - Good Quality

This is a light jacket - not something for subzero weather. The Large fits my 6', slim husband well. He usually wears a size large. He really likes this jacket : Plenty of pockets, light but warm. -Thinsulate Lining -One large interior pocket with a bit of Velcro closure. -One interior zip pocket on the chest running along the zipper. -Two fleece-lined outside hand pockets with a snap - big enough for his hands or gloves. -One outside chest pocket with snap closure. -Hanging loop sewn into the neck. -Collar lined with a soft corduroy - does not bother his chin/neck. -Back has a little extra length - curves a bit. -Zips closed & Snaps closed. -Good Heavy Duty Zipper. -Outer Shell/Inner Shell Poly is not the cheap crinkling/noisy/crispy fabric - this is just a good poly fabric. It is not super rugged.

Well built, comfortable work jacket.

Nice, comfy jacket. It fits well and is not oversized. That is to say you can wear a long sleeve shirt under it but a sweatshirt might make everything too snug, especially on the upper arms. The openings of the sleeves are a little big, with no cuffs or elastic. This design is good if you are wearing gloves with the jacket as the sleeve openings leave plenty of room for your wrists. The extra room here is also very useful if you are doing any sort of work in the jacket as your wrists and hands have plenty of room to maneuver. The Thinsulate in the jacket, with a hefty long sleeve shirt underneath, should be good for temperatures down to fifty degrees, as that was the lowest outside temperature I was able to test it in so far. The jacket has two large, inner pockets. A zippered pocket on the left side, about mid chest and and Velcro pocket on the lower right side. The zippered pocket is about 7 by 5 inches and the Velcro pocket is about 6.5 inches wide and 5.5 inches deep, not including the half inch on top with the Velcro tab. Overall, I am very impressed with the quality and design of this jacket. I expect to get a lot of use out of it because it is so comfortable, with the cotton lining for the neck and storm flap being nice touches.
