Slides on any surface

I didn't buy these to protect my carpet, I bought them because the blue painter's tape on the carpet to mark the throwing lines looked ridiculous. I was hoping since they were going to be on carpet and not a smooth surface that it would cut down on the amount of sliding they do...nope. I think I'll need some velcro to attach to the underside to keep them from slipping. If you're looking for mats that will protect your floor, these are not what you want. They're simply a nice way to mark throwing lines. If the underside was textured so they wouldn't slide so much I would give these five stars.

Squishy but zero floor protection

I bought this product primarily to protect my new wood floors. The first dart that I missed the board with (missed high going for a triple 20) bounced off the backboard, went straight through this mat, and into the hardwood. This mat feels great and looks great, but the "protective" advertising is completely false and deceptive. It fails at its primary purpose.

Looks great and protects the floor.

This mat looks great in my game room. Also having hardwood floors, it protects the floor and the darts if they bounce of the board. Love the mark/line for soft or steel tip.

Simple oche mat for hard surfaces. ????

Simple oche mat. Could use some attachment or non-slip options. Slides around on carpeted floors. More suited for hard surfaces unless you figure a way to adhere in place with carpet(velcro, 2 sided tape)

Meh..

Mat started off as a good buy. After A few rounds, I had wear and tear in the area around the oche. The mat slowly started to lose its durability without any extreme tarnish or foul play. Maybe it was just the mat I got; it remains to be seen, but for the price, I expected a little more. If it wasn’t for the window passing, I would have definitely requested a new one. Overall, I give it a 3

Perfect for plastic tip!

This is a very simple product, but does the job for me perfectly. I use it on ceramic tile with a Valley Cougar dart board. Only problem for me is that I have to fold about 8" or so under the mat because my Valley machine protrudes out that much further at the base... but honestly, that really only adds more padding up right by where the darts usually fall so no big deal. I bought this over 6 months ago and we play on the board a ton and this mat is perfectly fine. It holds a little dirt, but just sweep it off now and then and its good to go again. Would absolutely buy again if using with plastic tip darts on tile or wood surface (cannot speak to metal darts or other surfaces, sorry).

Looks great but tears super easily

Was really nice out of the box, super soft and comfortable on the feet, however, it tore within the first 3 days and has torn a few more times in the last month. If you’re looking for comfort and don’t have your dartboard in a high traffic area then this may be the one for you, if not, don’t waste your money!

Awesome to have when playing darts

This is a great matt to have when playing darts, not only does it make it very easy to know where to throw the darts from but it also is very soft to stand on and helps when darts hit the ground

One unforseen problem

Nice mat unfortunately the foam material was a magnet for my cats and they quickly destroyed it. Not something I would fault the manufacturer for but if you have cats you might want to consider something else.
