Misnomer, Not Velvet, Not Flattering Fit, Not as Expected
The company name should be responsible for creating a fabric to parallel the term “velvet”. The fit is more revealing than desired, indecent, so this shirt will work only as an under layer. Whether that will even be comfortable is questionable. It is a lightweight material. So far there is no motivation to wear it for these reasons. I should have been more astute in choosing and remain very disappointed. Even a base layer should fit decently. This one does not.

False Advertising
It said Velvet in the write up BEFORE I ordered. Naturall ( assumed it was VELVET. WRONG! It was a simple T-shirt with VEPVET ON THE LABEL. IT IS NOT WORTH $66.00. It is being returned today.

Elevated basic
Love this! The cotton is beautiful and the fit is perfect. I was on the fence between this and the splendid brand. The length of the shirt is just right so I can wear it tucked or with leggings. Normally I wear xs but chose small after reading the reviews and looking elsewhere on line. It’s $$ but worth it. I don’t think it will stretch out but will give nicely and think it will wash well but I’m not going to put it in the dryer just in case. Will buy more colours.

I love this top! I find all velvet products are very high quality . This is soft and comfortable..a classic item at home on both casual and formal occasions
