Tried to use for TED Hose

Having had one knee replacement, I thought I would get one of these to help hold up the TED hose for my second knee replacement. I sure for regular hose/stocking this works great but those TED hose are a nightmare no matter what you use.

Not for medical compression stockings

If you have compression stocking with silicon bumps on top these will not work. There isn’t enough of a knob on the belt clips to attach, and they’re not long enough to attach to the compression stocking itself.

Not adjustable/Slide over head to get on.

Strong for safety pinning legs wraps to it. But my bandages are too thick to use the hooks it comes with. Holds my abdomen in well.

Adjustable? Only the length of the actual stocking hardware. Beware.

Whereas this product is well made and durable with good hardware (that hold up stockings) ... the advertising is somewhat misleading. It states "fully adjustable." What adjusts is the length of the stocking hardware, and not the "waist." At 5'4" and 120 pounds, I purchased the proper size according to the sizing instructions and find the absolute snugness that holds everything up is a bit too much and leaves me with muffin top despite my not-large body. They are not returnable. I will either have to alter the garment with a closure, or take the hardware for a lesser quality but adjustable garter belt. I realize we are all Different Sizes, but I could have done a better job in deciding to buy or not while hunting for a Utility Garter Belt with a better description or at least an image of the back of the belt. An improvement? To add hooks and eyes (or some such) = perfect.

This product does the job.

This product does the job it is intended to do, but it tends to roll at the top and at the bottom. The round metal on the garter hose clips tend to slip with thick compression hose. If you have the hose with silicon in the band they are very difficult to use.

Having a problem with keeping the front clips snapped...if you sit or scrunch down they come unclipped sometimes..at least my stockings stay up now...Also the 3 inch waist band tends to roll over in the front

More like a girdle than an apparatus to hold up your compression hose

The description asks you to measure, but then doesn't give any ranges so you could properly choose Small, Medium, etc. The hockey belt is a less expensive, adjustable (Velcro) belt. There is no mention of Latex where it attaches to the compression stocking. but it is there and you may need to find a solution to this if you where them daily. This is a nonreturnable item unless damaged in transit or similar problem, so save your money and buy the adjustable hockey belt for half the price.

Not suitable for support hose.

I will have to modify the clips to get it to function the way I want, but no fault on the manufacturer. Support hose has knobby bits for grip that make it awkward using these clasps, but it is a good base to start with for my purposes.
