I have purchased tablecloths from Violet Linen in the past and have never been disappointed. Because they no longer sell the crocheted tablecloths that they previously sold (they had the appearance of being handmade), I purchased the Stars Crochet Vintage Lace Design tablecloth. I'm pleased by the weight of the material (80% cotton), the pretty pattern, and the ivory color. It looks as lovely on my table as it does in the picture, except that the width is not sufficient for the sides to hang down as long as the ends. That issue will likely be resolved when I insert a table leaf. I have not yet laundered the tablecloth, so I can't comment on how it will stand up to a cold water/gentle machine washing. The tag attached to the product warns that there could be shrinkage and suggests that ironing might be necessary to gently stretch the tablecloth back into shape. I am hoping that if shrinkage occurs, it will shorten the length rather than with width!

The tablecloth is nice, but it is definitely not true to size.
The tablecloth is nice, but it is definitely not true to size. As others have found out I bought the 60 x 120 tablecloth, but out of the box it was actually 52 x 105. Very disappointing because I've been looking a long time for a lace tablecloth that will fit my table when it is fully extended. After washing and an hour of ironing, I was able to stretch it to 55 x 110. I am keeping this because it fits my table without the extensions and it looks nice.

Beautiful quality crochet lace table cloth.
I was nervous about buying this crochet tablecloth as I have seen some cheap and horrible crochet products around. But I am happy to say that this cloth is lovely quality and looks like it does in the picture - it will look lovely on our timber table for a special occasion. It is a beautiful table cloth. It is slightly smaller than advertised ( about 1- 2 inches) and could possibly shrink in the wash - so bear that in mind when choosing your size.

Looks to be a nice, good quality tablecloth.
The tablecloth looks very nice and seems to be of good quality. I will know better just how nice it is when I have laundered it. The label leads me to believe that it may shrink with washing and may not keep it's shape.....I will be very disappointed if this happens.

Fairly durable, but it's several pieces sewn together
I bought this as a gift for my mom from Grandma, so we wer looking for relatively traditional lace which is really hard to find these days. This tablecloth looks nice, it has a good weight and lace stitch, so it won't tear or snag too easily. We were surprised and disappointed to find that it is not one big piece of lace, rather it is is several approx. 4 inch strips of lace that are sewn together with a basic zig zag stitch, still loose threads here and there. That cheapens the entire thing. Coffee was spilled on it, and we were able to get that out by soaking it right away. Wash cold, hang dry, and then you'll need to stretch it back out to it's intended size as it kind of shrinks into itself.
