Perfect mold for my needs
I used these for my tahini based energy bites. Perfect mold for these but I do need to use a knife to get each bite out since they are so deep and the silicone is thick (That's a good thing). It's easier to remove them if the energy bites are stored in the fridge instead of the freezer but sometimes I want to keep them in the freezer then it's hard to remove them.

Great, long lasting cubes that don't fly all over!
Let me be straight forward: I detest standard ice cube trays. I twist them, cubes fly all over the place, they just don't really do a whole lot for me but make me crabby. I've been toying around with buying some of these ice cube trays for a while, and now that I have them (for use at work) I can say that I really like them. I didn't get any strange taste as mentioned by others, and I didn't have any problems ejecting cubes. I hate flying cubes, so the fact that I just gave a finger press to the bottom of each, they slid up and out with no problems. The cubes themselves are unique looking and seem to take a long time to melt, which is awesome. The drinking experience with these cubes is better in my opinion. The slanted shape of cubes from standard trays always seem to line up against me, making it difficult to get the proper liquid flow that I want, or sticking together and smashing against my face and causing a "side spill" down my shirt. The cubes last a long time, give good liquid flow, and overall make me a happy ice hound. There is one fatal flaw of these trays in my opinion: They don't have a lip. So filling from one end, tipping it up and letting the water flow down to fill all of the compartments is a no-go. For me, it docks a star but is a pretty small trade off for longer lasting cubes that don't fly all over the place when you get them from the tray. Tip for use: The tray is not fragile... you can "break" the cubes like you're breaking a chocolate bar or a pack of rolls baked together... this will help the cubes start ejecting themselves. UPDATE: 2.5 year update.... Now my ice cubes taste like chlorine. Even with purified or distilled water. I can dishwash the trays and they still smell. In many ways, other plastics can sometime take on 'freezer taste'. So if 2.5 years is a long enough life span, then they're good! I guess!

Perfect Squares!
These trays are excellent, the cubes are perfectly square, and getting them out of the tray is simple and easy. The low profile of the tray allows it to fit nicely on the top shelf of a camper freezer (this is why I purchased these) Two trays in the freezer, gives me 30 perfect bar cubes while I camp! One downside, and this is just because of the material is a full tray of water takes a little care getting it in the freezer - but the extra care is worth the price of admission!

Great icecube trays with multifunction purpose.
I do not like traditional ice cube trays; i have had a habit of breaking them trying to release the frozen contents regularly. silicon has such a large tolerance for temperature (both hot and cold) that this would theoretically make for a nice product. I love these things! Getting the desired number of cubes out is a lot easier than with traditional ridgid plastic or metal cube makers (technically most aren't actually cubes; more like ice blocks or bricks.) While the depth of the silicone does make it not as easy to remove a cube as one would think, this also serves to keep the other cubes in their cube homes. To remove a cube easiest, I found it wise to press it out 1/3 of the way from the bottom. Then just pull it ut with your fingers or ice tonges preferably. I had no issues with the frozen water sticking to the silicon. These can also be used in the oven for baking small things, FYI. A number of people have commented on the "flavor" umbued by the silicon. I haven't kept ice for longer than 1 month in a single cube tray and I haven't had an issue. I also washed my new product rather well before using the 1st time. Please note that ice will pickup freezer odors and taste ... stale if left for too long. Natually old ice will absorb something from its container after a while. I recommend this product.

pretty good, but not perfect
I purchased two of these these just under three years ago, and the corner of one tore yesterday. Now, I drink a lot of ice water, and use these year round so that's fairly good, but I wished they'd lasted longer. Especially since normal plastic trays, while brittle, are readily recyclable. Silicone is technically recyclable as well, but you'll probably have a harder time doing so. Of course, that's only one cell out of 30 broken (so far). Otherwise, I have been very happy with these ice cube trays. I'm not sure why people are complaining about them being floppy though. They are, but that's the nature of any silicone product, and part of what makes them fun. To help avoid sloshing water around when moving filled trays, and bad flavored cubes, I put each in a 5 cup Sterilite container. The trays fit perfectly, and become easy to move and stack. The container does slow the freezing a bit, but these trays hold so much water that they freeze slowly anyhow. Therefore I recommend having at least two so that in the summer one is already frozen while the other is freezing.

So Much Better than Plastic
I want to start by saying that the cubs are difficult to remove directly from the freezer. But if you let the tray sit out for a minute or two, it's easy. I freeze a bunch at once and pop them out into a tray. It works much better than the same concept with plastic trays. The cubes don't break or get stuck. Just don't overfill them. You can wash them by hand or in the dishwasher--easy enough. Thus, I would recommend these.

Makes perfect sized subies every time.
These things are amazing. Perfect cubes every time. Great size (large enough) to melt slowly and keep your drink chilled for a long time as opposed to smaller cubes that melt in a second and water your drink drown. Extremely easy to take cubes out of the tray as the tray slots can stretch and you can pull them out without having the cube stick to the tray. 5 stars.

Really easy to get the ice out as the material is really flexible; don't try get the ones in the middle first however. Perfectly square sections to make perfectly square cubes. Depending on how fast they freeze or the temperature of the freezer, sometimes the ice will bulge up or down slightly. This is due to water expanding, but if you're really care, you can shave that bulge down.

I like them
Nice cubey shaped cubes. Lol. Much better than the regular ice trays I've always used. I don't find it hard to take them out like other reviews. Just bend it like a normal tray then push a cube up from the bottom. I guess if you want to empty the whole tray at once it might be a pain, can't say I haven't tried. I just take 1 or 2 cubes and its fine
