These boots are extremely comfortable! My back and feet already feel better after switching to these from an older version of Timberland boots that didn't have the anti-fatigue technology. (The older boots were great as well, just worn out!) I'm one of those people who always tries to do my homework before buying a product and I tried on about 6 or 7 other brands of higher end work boots and these were by far the most comfortable! The right shoe was a bit tighter than the left when I first put them on, but has since loosened up and fits much better. I think my right foot is bigger than my left anyway so it probably has nothing to do with the boots at all. I have worn these for 3 days straight at my new job in a lumber yard working close to 10 hour days with barely any time off my feet and lets just say I'm very happy with these boots and so is MY BACK! Great boot!! Definitely recommended to anyone with back or feet problems!

Too small for me

I love my Timberland's and wear nothing but the Pro series for work and have for years. I literally travel around the world with them and wear them in some very harsh environments. Every other pair I've owned always start out a little tight until you break them in but there was no way possible with these. Way too tight and felt narrow in comparison to the other Helix with the titan toe, not sure what the difference was. I had to send them back and ordered another pair. Still 4 stars for an awesome shoe and amazon customer service. Returned with no shipping costs to me. Awesome boots and I doubt you find anything more comfortable with the right fit. I'd try a 1/2 size higher if it's an option.

Finally found the right boot

They fit really well, which has been a problem for me. More importantly they don't make my feet hurt or cause cramping after a couple of hours which was my problem with a number of other similar boots. They were a bit more expensive than what I had planned to spend and are a little bit heavier than what I originally was looking for. However, as a hiking boot safety boot combo that finally works for me and actually looks good too, I can live with the higher cost and extra weight.

30 day comfort misleading

these are my 4th pair. Love them.. The reason Im giving it 2 stars is because of the 30 comfort fit guarantee. I received these boots as expected and i tried them on. they didn't feel as comfortable as the last 3 pair but i figured they would brake in. well it only got worse. I called timberland to try to use the 30 day guarantee but since i got them on Amazon and not in a store its like jumping through hoops to return them. the man said that this brand may not be covered even though a 30 day guarantee came in the box attached to the boots. plus i didn't get a store receipt since i got it through amazon. i am kind of out of luck.. i may try a different boot company that will stand behind there product. i am a contractor who is hard on my boots and i always liked how they felt. They don't last any longer than a cheaper brand they just look better. maybe i should go with price and not the big name.. then if they don't stand by it then i will be out less money. long and short of it .. you should probably buy them from a store so you will have a face to talk too. if they helped me i would have given 6 stars

Almost perfect boot.

Unlike the Hyperion boots, these, like stated be everyone else, have NO break in period. They are one of the most comfortable boots I have worn. The ONLY things that made me return these and keep my Hyperions are the facts that the leather is very soft (it scratches way to easily), it doesn't have any abrasion resistance on the toe to help with the soft leather (I know they're work boots, but I like my stuff to look nice), and no insulation. The Hyperion has the abrasion resistance (doesn't really need, but ill take it), insulation (I wanted a 'one size for every situation' type boot), and doesn't scratch... like, at all. IMHO, the Helix looks ten times better, it just doesn't do what I want. I gave this boot a 5 star because it really is an awesome boot, just didn't fit my needs.

Not at all what I was expecting...

I went to several stores and tried these boots on before I bought them but none of the stores had the exact size I needed. As a result, I ordered them from amazon. To be honest, I don't like them. They're extremely expensive and they're not impressive...at all. However, I bought them because they are recommended for people who have plantar fasciitis and a bad back. In that respect, they actually work great. I am having less pain than I was previously in my other work boots. They are VERY heavy, very uncomfortable when laced tight which you have to do when walking because they'll rub the skin right off your ankles. But, I have to give them time to see if they're going to hold up. This is one downfall to buying on amazon...if these were from a local store I would already have returned them...it's a bit more of a hassle with amazon.
