Not what you want
Too stiff, binds up your pants, harder than hell to get in the slots. Didnt know they were for a specific brand of pants, tried to put em in Wrangler Riggs pants.....fiasco ????

great option for knee pads
It was a struggle to get them in my wrangler work pants but they fit. Once I got them in I realized they'll be near impossible to remove and put in a different pair of pants. Gonna be expensive to by a pair for all my pants

Stiff
I was trying different types of pads and these just weren't my favorite. Kind of stiff and not as comfortable as some other ones I have. I ended up returning them.

Medium thickness, effective kneeling protection.
These stay in place better than any of the other inserts I've tried and have more than adequate cushioning for kneeling on compacted gravel, concrete and rebar for long periods of time. They're stiff and pre-curved. For me, the built in curve allows them to end up more consistently under my knees than other inserts. This means there's a lot less need to grab the thighs of my pants and pull the kneepads into position as I'm kneeling. I use them in regular fit(slightly baggy) cargo pants for construction work. These pads are not too thick, but padded enough.

i have 3 pairs
i've bought these 3 times. i love them. they fit the carhartt pants, but they are hard to inset. i just bought some 5.11 and they fit if you cut off the top. i've ran them thru the wash 5 time and have had no problems.

Protects, but stiff
I used these in Dickies double knee painters pants after opening the top hem. They are higher than the foam pads I was using and protect better from sharp surfaces. But, I found them very stiff compared to what I was used to. Inside will still use foam inserts. Outside I will use these.

Had to modify
I use Tru-Spec tactical pants. I cut off a section on top so they would fit in the knee pockets of my pants. Still do what they are made to do and the is protecting your knees when kneeling.

Great
Better than some other knee pads, these have a contour so it doesnt look bulky, forms to your shin and knees. Only thing is they fit in Dakota bibs just not my insulated Dura Drive ones. I don't wear H.H work pants but assume they fit in all H.H gear

Knee saving; could've used these three past decade.
Very comfortable kneeling on cement, cedar roofing, or a floor covered in dropped nails or screws. It takes a bit of fiddling, but I've put them in my Carhartt pants, without having to trim anything. I don't like how constricting normal knee pads are, so this tree suits me well. Next, I'll be trying to squeeze them into my Fjallravens for outdoor adventures.

Hard but soft. If that makes sence. Little big for the pants i have. But they fit and work great
