My favorite tent ever
My reason for replacing my old faithful 3-man dome was that I needed something that I could pop up quickly - possibly in limited space - and is waterproof. I've used this one on three separate trips now (more on them in a minute) and it fits my needs perfectly. I used it on the ground, not with the matching cot provided by the same manufacturer. If you've been shopping for instant tents on Amazon or elsewhere you'll see many that fit into two general categories: 1) spring-loaded ones you can literally toss and they open all by themselves, and 2) cabin-style tents that raise in the middle. The Teton tent is in a class all by itself. The two standard designs didn't appeal because there didn't seem to be any air space between the fly (if any) and/or the fly wasn't very big. I don't know about you, but there are few things I like less than waking up on a tent that's gotten condensation on the outside overnight that instantly leaks through as soon as you touch it by accident. Ugh. NASTY. I liked that this one has a fly that stands off the body of the tent (the external poles provide air space) but there's an inch or two gap at the bottom that lets fresh air in. Most of the negative reviews here are about the fact that the fly doesn't go all the way to the ground, which I don't quite understand - I don't care for a stuffy tent, myself. Trips #1 and #3 I used it for were near the ocean, and #2 was in the mountains. The first night I used it I woke up to drizzle, but inside the tent was bone-dry. I was thrilled. The night I spent in the mountains was colder than I like (in the 40s) but I was quite surprised at how cold air rushed in when I unzipped the tent body. Turns out that the mesh the main tent holds out cold air pretty efficiently, which I hadn't expected. I haven't yet used it on a warm enough night to want to do away with the fly, but I'm looking forward to that. It should be a nice middle ground between sleeping rough & being enclosed. Pros: mostly covered above, but I want to add that it looks very well-made. It goes up quite quickly - the tent body in about a minute, plus another 2-3 for the fly. The stuff sack is of good size and it's easy to slide the tent & fly into it, something that's been a problem with previous tents I've had. Cons: as shown in the photos it's of standard bathtub construction, but the bottom isn't reinforced at all. I wouldn't use it without a tarp, ground cloth, or cot underneath unless the ground is very even and soft. (The 2-person fits perfectly on a 5'x7' tarp with the pegs through the corners.) I wouldn't consider it a backpacking tent, but it's light for car camping. Of course that comes from using lightweight nylon, and I can't speak to its durability yet. It was just a little tricky to put up the first time and the lock at the top didn't fit in until the third time I put it up, but obviously it stayed up without it - otherwise I'd be writing a nasty review about it instead of a rave! Overall, it has exceeded my expectations, and I'm very, very happy with it, especially considering its very modest price. EDITED TO ADD: I've used it on 7 or 8 trips now. Still adore it, still looks brand new. Here's the memorable thing that makes me update this review. I had a chance to pitch it at the beach right above the high tide line. How could I possibly resist? Until... about 10 pm the wind picked up. It was blowing HARD. Decided - reluctantly - that I should move to a more sheltered spot. And just as soon as I got out, the darned thing STARTED TO BLOW AWAY. With all my gear still in it. I had to grab it by the top and drag it back into the trees. ???? No damage. Still looks brand-new. Have I mentioned that I love this tent?

Good tent, fishy seller
Tent is straightforward set up and take down. Doesn't require multiple people to set up. Fabric material and zipper quality seem great but the floor fabric is a bit thin. Not sure how that'd hold up on rougher terrain if there's no base mat. I only give four stars because mine didn't come with the guy lines, pre-attached or in the bag unlike some other reviewers. The lock mechanism is not great either. The tab is neither ergonomic nor easy to lock/unlock. I think if they opt for a lock mechanism with a spring-loaded lock/unlock release mechanism it'd be great. Also on a side note, do inspect the tent before using it. Mine was bought new with prime shipping (forgot who the seller was) and the tent has dirty shoes marks inside the tent and on the rain fly and the inside is also a lot stickier than my replacement tent.

Not the best, not the worst
The tent arrived in a box that hadn't been previously opened. The tent was in new condition with no evidence of previous ownership. Used the tent this past weekend and it performed perfectly. We had 2 nights in the 30's and inside the tent was roughly 10-15 degrees warmer, but for a non- four season tent, that wasn't terrible. It is a little short, I'm 6ft and could touch one end with my feet and the other with my head, repositioning the legs of the tent gave a little more room, removing the constant contact. The only gripe I have about the tent is the amount of condensation that builds up on the rainfly and there's not much of a way to remove the fly without some water dripping through the screen into the tent. All in all, for a tent that takes 1-3 minutes to set up, if you use the stakes and fly, it's a quick start to a weekend. One item I would like to see added is a light diffusing pocket for a head lamp. The overhead storage works, but a headlamp just falls over if there's anything else in the overhead storage.

Good but not great
Everything is good about this tent, easy setup and easy packaging. However it is too heavy and bulky when packed up. Take a lot of space in the car. Not worth it compared to the relatively small interior space when set up.

Good Tent, BUT with a few CONS
The media could not be loaded. Purchased this tent less than a week ago and took it on a camping trip. It is overall good tent that comfortably fits 1-2 people. The things I had issues with was the thin flooring and flimsy locking pin. After getting home and cleaning my tent, I saw 3 small holes in my floor of the tent. I even put down a thick tarp underneath my tent to prevent not only moisture buildup between my tent and ground, but also to keep things from poking through. I’m not really sure how holes were formed, but wasn't with how thin the floor is. Would I buy this again if I knew these things? Yes, but only if the flooring of the tent is upgraded to a more durable material as well as a better locking pin. It is still a good tent and I would recommend it to others. Pros: - Very fast set up and take down - light weight (wouldn’t take on a long hike though) - Holds in heat better than my old tent - Keeps water out well (it rained on my camping trip and had no issues) Cons: - Material used for the flooring is VERY thin and wears/rips/tears very easily - The pin to lock the tent in position once set up is plastic and bends WAY to easily.

It is a cool product
I used it last weekend. The set up is easy. I used the cot I have already own. It is slight smaller than the tent. I intend to purchase the cot by the brand for my next camping trip. One small issue is there are supposed to have 4 rings on the ceiling, one missing is missing. It looks like it was a manufacturing error. I still give the brand 5 stars as getting a replacement can not be easier.

Bad quality and false advertising
I was really excited about my Vista 2, but one of the poles snapped off of the hub the first time I tried closing it, even though I followed the instructions. Upon further inspection, I could see that there was nothing more than a tiny plastic piece holding the pole on, and it didn't look anything like the hinge system they show you in the pictures... This product would not last the test of time. I do not recommend.

Rápido montaje y resistente a lluvia fuerte
La usé dos días seguidos debajo de lluvia muy fuerte y se mantuvo seca y cálida al interior. No es precisamente compacta ya estando empacada, la recomendaría para viajes en coche o moto, no para mochilear. El interior es muy amplio, caben dos de talla mediana muy cómodos
