Did what I needed them to do
I used these flags to mark a circle for a tree bed but they were a bit flimsy when I wrapped string around them to form the circle. Also they work best on softer ground so if the ground is harder hold them close to the end so they don't bend. Be sure to stick them at least 2-3 inches in the ground or they may come loose.

Not sure if they'll survive the snowy and cold long winter of the US Upper Midwest
I bought these because I'm tired of playing like a treasure hunt on my knees looking for my underground sprinklers every spring after the snow has melted. (I know. A metal detector could help me finding them faster and easier. But I have no other need for such a device.) However, I'm not sure if these will withstand our harsh winters with loads of snow and ice as we have here covering them for weeks of not months at a time. Some good things about them. 1) Made in the USA. 2) Very bright, which is what I wanted. 3) They went right through with little to no effort inside the ground (granted, it's been raining lot here, so that definitely helped.) 4) They are long enough for my personal and particular needs. I gave them 3 stars because they seem a bit flimsy and I'm not sure if the flags will stay put on the metal stake or come off between now October until the spring in April when hopefully the snow melted by then. I might need to come out and check periodically, which won't be easy with snow upto my knees. Thankfully, there are a lot more in the package than what I actually need. If one comes apart, and if I can find the stake, I could replace it, as long as the gerund is not hardened too much by then. Will come back and update my review once they've been up longer than what they've been so far and once the snow starts putting them to the test.

Good quality
I needed these to mark some small tree stumps for further trimming after clearing. Only problem was my dog made a game out of running around the 1/2 acre lot full speed and snatching the flags out of the ground

Exactly What I Needed
Worked great. Used for marking distances from my blind for bow hunting. These never bothered the deer at all. My range finder won’t work through the camo mesh windows of my blinds so these work great! I could see them early season when the growth in the fields were high and of course later season when it got eaten down to a lower height.
