Very Nice Down-Alternative Comforter (Best Used as a Duvet Insert)

(I'm writing about the Twin Size.) This is a nice down-alt comforter. The filling is squishy and soft, and it's filled in a way that you won't have to worry about it getting balled up and lumpy (which is something I experienced with another down-alt comforter:Belle Epoque Faux Down Utopia Best Duvet, White, Twin ) The outside fabric is described as microfiber, but it doesn't feel like brushed microfiber that some microfiber bedding is made from (which mimics cotton). Instead, it is a very satin-y, shiny material, and has a very slick and slippery feel. It's basically polyester satin, and it has the kind of texture that would snag on dry skin (as some other reviews have noted). It doesn't matter that much to me, because I use a cotton duvet cover. But this isn't something that you could use without a duvet cover. The slippery material with the squishy filling combined of gives it a jelly-like sensation - which I would have assumed I wouldn't like in bedding. But with a good, crisp cotton duvet cover, it actually feels very nice. Also, I've washed the comforter already twice (cold water, low-heat tumble dry) and the filling remains fluffy and even. The comforter is reasonably thick (website says it's 58 oz. of fill for the twin). I wouldn't call this a summer-weight comforter. The stripe pattern is pretty, and makes the comforter look more elegant. Again, it's not that important to me because of the duvet cover. But it is pretty, and overall, it looks very well-sewn, and I expect it to last. Conclusion: This is a perfectly fine comforter, as long as you use it as a duvet insert. It's better than other comforters I've purchased at this price point, because they balled up and got lumpy. I would buy this again.

Not Quite King Size

Feels a lot more light weight than medium weight as stated in the description and as for a king size, I'd say that it fits a queen size bed really well. I've put it on the queen size bed in the guest bedroom instead and it looks like a nice, oversized queen comforter that covers the bed nicely without hanging on the floor. Overall, it's a great quality, excellent value for money comforter for a queen bed but not for a king.

Excellent quality, uniform in fill-thickness, & satisfying, lightweight comfort

I've wanted a better comforter and this is great quality and feel. I'm taking it to a milder version of winter - only gets to frost on grass - and it may be a little overly warm there where winter is beginning, but no fault of the product. Lightweight and warm in WA state sub-freezing weather using a duvet and sheets upper and fitted.

Really nice and warm Im very cold person and this works. I haven't washed it so that's the biggest test hope it passes. Get it in king size even u have queen size bigger better trust me

If you're cold blooded, you'll love this comforter.

It feels great to cover up with during these cold winter nights but a couple of hours after I am in bed, I am perspiring. It's definitely too warm of a comforter for me.
